who loves the music of the late 70's and the 80's? I know I do. some of my favorites are the cars, duran duran, jesus and mary chain, the cure, the smiths, and the replacements.

Rod Stewart and James Taylor are where its at, i grew up on that shit.

Not that i'm 30 years old or anything, but it used to be the car music on journeys with my parents.

TALKING HEADS, Violent Femmes, The Clash, The Cure, early U2, old Beastie Boys all kicked serious ass.

I love 80's music. It has it's own playlist on my IPod. And I have 2 songs (Heaven Is A Place on Earth and Angel in the Centerfold by J Geils Band..they rule)

i cant believe i forgot joy division. new order was awesome too.

as a bassist, i have an insane amount of respect for sting. the man could sing and play some tricky bas slines at the same time.

and rick jame's "give it to me baby" is one fo the best songs ever written.

Rick James makes me laugh because one time in my ITunes 34 of my songs renamed themselves to Brick House. It was so bizarre.

Oh man how could I forget him? My sister and I always used to refer to Bruce, Bon Jovi, and Billy Joel as the 3 B's when we were little. We eventually threw Boston in there as the fourth.

I think from the ages of 6 to 10, all I listened to was Peter Gabriel, the Boss, Paul Simon, U2, Simon & Garfunkel, and the Doobie Brothers. Good times.
