The GAD boys were out boating, when a storm caused their ship to crash onto an island. The video would start with them waking up on the beach after the shipwreck and them realising were they are. They decide to split up and search the island. One by one each member gets captured by little kids (just boys or boys and girls). After the last member is captured... we see the GAD boys surrounded by the children tied up next to a big campfire... things look bad... The children move in closer and closer... and then...
The 2 minute point in the song hits where the acoustic part comes in.. and the screen flashes and then we see the boys sitting around with acoustic guitars around the campfire playing for the children... The children love it, when the song builds back up and the clapping begins, the children are dancing and clapping along to the song. The children and the GAD boys befriend, and everything is fine until a monster threatens the boys and the children... the monster begins to creep unto them and the children and the GAD boys are in tribal war paint and ready to fight the monster.. right before the monster attacks them...
All the GAD boys wake up in pub just as the folk singing part begins.. Confused at first... they all sit and stare at each other... and then start laughing and join in the chant. As the chant fades out the camera moves to the window where you see one of the kids from the island with the tribal war paint on staring in the window smiling... *fade to black*

I like it but I think some parts are pretty weak. The whole pub thing is kinda cheesy.

I think on a surface level, Fable is the most enjoyable. You can bob your head without really thinking about what the hell is going on in the song ..and well, thats pretty much what the radio/singles are made for.

that song kicks ass...i love the one part in the song where he says "do i make you salivate!". I got the demo disc with the album too. I really like the the demo of theatre a lot. I personally think the best songs for singles would be theatre, pompei, or a mind of metal and wheels (the beat change in this song is sick). I think speaker for the dead sums up the album the best. Any song will work well except the 29 second one.

The thing i love about this album is the references you see from their other stuff; specifically songs like the hunter. Listen to the last minute of the song and think of the lyrics from the last album..."you can't go wrong, if you bring love". Also the obvious vibes from shhh i'm listening to reason..."it's not the same".

While they have done slower songs before, i feel like releasing this song as a single would be like when sugarcult released "pretty girl" as their single.

I was thinking of all the best music video's i've seen and the idea done by Armor For Sleep on the song for "My Town" was really rad. I'm not saying copy it, but derive idea's from it.

Lemme begin the thinking...
Maybe an idea about, start out with one of the band members looking into the mirror as if he just woke up and he was thinking of how he could become some sort of really cool guy (implying he's kind of a loser), so he messes with his hair... etc. Cut to a scene where someone approaches him and points to a really nice car and some how implies he wants him to help steal a car. So then show them jacking the car, then maybe jacking another car and they are driving together and he thinks that the guy helping him jack cars is really cool and they are becoming friends, show that he (member of gads/original person) driving and the other guy is a passenger, then like a cop see's them and starts chasing them... chase persues and they eventually get caught. Then the passenger guy acts like he has nothing to do with it and they arrest main guy one and the other guy goes free. (it would be really rad to include the other members as cops and the bad guy)... then like an end shot of either him looking into a mirror, like a shot just like the opener, then you see it zoom out and you see its a prison cell mirror, or just plainly that nothing really happened and it was just his imagination.
