Well you were wrong there, its good to see UK bands getting coverage on absolutepunk. Check out some of the UK's best bands:
My Awesome Compilation - http://www.myawesomecompilation.com
The Maple State - http://www.themaplestate.co.uk
New Road - http://www.myspace.com/newroad

well that was productive.
The only british bands that ever get exposure on ap is funeral for a friend and bloc party. I almost sort of feel sorry for kids in the US. They will never know just great the UK scene is. It still confuses my why hundred reasons have never got a mention on here.

Agreed... not forgetting Hell is for Heroes. Caught them live the other week, and they were phenomenal.. new album is a cracker.

Yeah, its funny how UK bands never seem to make the jump over unless they have big label backing. The only exception i can think of is The Fight and i think thats due to epitaph putting out their E.P a while ago. I'd like to see what the US made of bands like No Comply, Adequate 7 and Howards Alias. I think they'd go down well given a support slot. Unfortunately i think its going to be Fightstar that you can add to the bloc party/FFAF list.

The Hurt Process will do alright in the US with their new album. They were on the warped tour and they're signed to Victory. So, I think they'll do alright.
