These guys back in '02. (http://www.souldoutquartet.com/#) They're a Christian cover band or some shit.
The first handful of legitimate groups I saw (though I use the word legitimate very loosely here) was at the Nintendo Fusion Tour '06 (Hawthorne Heights, Relient K, The Sleeping, Emery, Plain White Ts). Only went for the opportunity to play the Wii before it was released, although Emery impressed me and I have been a fan since.

and then I saw them a few more times after that... amazing band to catch live-- I recommend them highly, but they aren't doing many shows lately since their drummer has that brain tumor....
The Who. Right after Entwhistle died. Robert Plant opened for em and actually played Zeppelin stuff as opposed to his solo stuff, which I didn't realize was a blessing.

I wish I could do that 30 times. You can usually sneak a coupe rides in at the beginning of the day if you get there early, but eventually the masses arrive and you're stuck waiting for some time. Maybe you caught a good day or something.

As for a "scene" band, it was Brand New. Breaking Pangea broke up right before the show and The Beautiful Mistake couldn't make it. But some shitty local hardcore bands and Senses Fail managed to show up. So... yeah.

Fleetwood Mac, Pat Benetar - I was like 7 or 8. They played after a Buffalo Bison's Baseball Game. I vaguely remember sitting in the bleachers and watching.
The first show(s) I remember wanting to attend and going to was either Warped Tour '00 or the local alternative radio station's "Edgefest" that same year. I don't remember who played.

I saw Garth Brooks when I was like 5. Good Charlotte was the first time I really went to a show by myself, when I was 13.
The first band I ever saw was at a local show in my town, with a band called "The Stimulus," when I was like, 12. My dad's coworker's son and daughter were in it, so dad took me, and I've been going to shows since. I think some cover band opened for them, and for some reason the name "The Sex Pistols" is sticking in my head, but I'll never remember. =/ Maybe they were a Sex Pistols coverband. Or maybe they actually called themselves "The Sex Pistols."
The first concert I went to that people might've actually heard about was Sum 41 (With openers Autopilot Off and Goldfinger). They came right near my friend's birthday, so I bought her tickets. I enjoyed it then, but looking back, I really wish I hadn't spent so much money on Sum 41, even if I still enjoy Goldfinger.
