Curious, I've heard these guys compared to Franz Ferdinand or whatever but I've never listened to them. FF is very boring to me. Are these guys any better/worth checking out? It seems like they got a lot of hype, and I almost went on a limb and bought the CD at Best Buy the other day, but didn't. Should I?

Okay. That seems like a good deal. I'm listening to the songs they have on purevolume right now, and they seem decent enough. But the thing with FF was, I thought the same thing of the single and the other songs they promoted before the album came out, only to buy it and find the rest sucked. So I just wanted another opinion.

But I'm kinda liking "Banquet"... listening to it right now.

I love Bloc Party. Silent Alarm is a great cd. I've been listening to it non-stop for awhile now. It's a shame I won't be able to see them when they come to New York. Damn those 18+ Shows.

Me neither. I liked Take Me Out at first, but it got old quick, and This Fire is mediocre. Other than that, just boring and repetitive to me.
