...and you know that how?They send you the whole score report, it shows you all the questions, their correct answers, and either a check-mark or the answer you put down - all in a neat table. They also send you back the test booklet (the whole point of the PSAT is for practice and such, so they giveyou a unique code to go online and review the answers you got wrong and such), so I saw that for writing section #35, the correct answer was D and my "given" answer was B. In the test booklet though, I have D circled quite clearly, meaning that's the answer I chose - I just didn't transfer correctly from the booklet to the scantron.

If I had been genuinely interested in it I would've done prep before. My lowest section was 91st percentile last year so I probably could've gone for it, but it's not that big of a deal to me. I took it because we're expected to as juniors and I'd like to see how much prep work I should do before the actual SAT.

198 as a sophomore, which was the highest I've heard of in my grade at my school. That's 96th percentile compared to juniors, which sucks by my standards, but seeing as next year is what actually matters for the NMS, I don't care. I'm actually going to study a bit, seeing as I want that scholarship.

false. i filled in my race as black, which i can do because i'm half, and got a 198 on it. two years later, y'know, college time, i had a handful of full-ride scholarship offers because of this "national acheivement award" or some other such shit awarded to black students who get above a certain score, haha. plus, my high school pays for the students to take the PSAT.

You don't need to worry about disappointing me because I am one of the people telling you that you're wrong based off of firsthand experience. If you're only one year ahead for math, you shouldn't have any trouble. Nothing above Algebra 2/Geometry is used so even if you took it as a Sophomore, you should be fine (assuming I read your post correctly). Not trying to be mean or anything, just pointing that out.

If you're only one year ahead for math, you shouldn't have any trouble. Nothing above Algebra 2/Geometry is used so even if you took it as a Sophomore, you should be fine (assuming I read your post correctly). Not trying to be mean or anything, just pointing that out.
There was stuff from Algebra 2 that I didn't know because I would learn that later in the year.

My PSAT scores were no reflection of how I did on the actual SAT.
I had a 54 on reading, a 60 on math, and a 58 on the writing (which equates to a 540, 600, and 580 respectively).
I did a lot better on the actual SAT though (680 critical reading, 710 math, 750 writing).
So I wouldn't worry if any of your scores were lower than you thought they would be.

I got a 220 something back my junior year. I was sick for a week before so I wasn't able to go to any of the review sessions my school had (so I probably would have scored higher, but whatever). I still got National Merit Finalist and a $10,000 for four years scholarship for college.

I didn't even take the regular SAT. I did take the ACT though.

Yay for not having to pay for college (except for my last two years).

I did so shitty on this. I got a 68(0) Reading, 55(0) Mathematics (fuqqqq) and a 59(0) Writing. So overall a 182.

So I did better than 83% of the country. As far as I'm concerned I might as well have won a gold medal at the special olympics. These scores blow. I did take this in October during my "smoke weed all day erry day" phase and I did shrooms a few days before. Maybe that had something to do with it?

I scored super high on my PSATs, it was weird. I ended up getting like a 1320/1600 on my SATs. I had a stomach bug and had to fight to leave during the test so I could vomit, so I barely finished the essay portion, haha. Good times.
