What We Worked For
These are all 100% as too what songs were played, the order is a little wish washy. I tried.
I found it awesome that a venue like Garfield Artworks booked a very well known artist of Tom Gabel's stature. There are times I've gone to shows at Garfield with merely a dozen people there. I was very happy to see a big crowd. With this said however, from time to time, a lot of kids were talking way too loud. The first two performers setlists were sometimes drowned out by the crowd noise. (not that I cared for the first guy, he was awful.) Tom Gabel was trying to speak a bit on the behalf of Eric McDavid but some people in the back were OIing, which I didn't believe still existed. He commented something on the lines of "I didn't know The Bouncing Souls were playing." Overall he was real cool about it, a lot more cool then I would of been.
Overall, it was something I'd thought I'd never see in 2008 and beyond. I'd give anything to do it again. There aren't many artists left that are as social as Tom Gabel and I know for a fact, not even half as nice as him. I was front row, dead center for the entire show. I couldn't believe it.

Awesome. I'm going tonight and I'm really looking forward to it. Did he have any merch for sale?

i was there and this was an awesome experience.
those drunk bro's in the middle of the crowd were quite the bother though.
the first guy fucking sucked, ive seen him as an opener before and its just embarrasing every time.
it was great to be so close to the guy and to hear him play songs i never thought id get to again.

The opening act just made me cringe, I couldn't believe it. Lyrically, musically and vocally, he had absolutely no talent. It's ironic to see a "punk" pull out a blackberry in the middle of his 25 minute set just to call a girl who probably hates his guts. It was embarrasing to have to watch. Haha, also that dude that kept yelling out random words at random times was completely out there. I don't think there was a person in the place that didn't want to curb stomp him.
To both of these comments, overall I do not understand why anyone would wanna pay 15+ dollars to go a show intoxicated as ever and try to interact with human beings. Get with the fucking picture.
All and all though, I had an awesome time. I got a picture with Tom afterwards and was really excited to hear a new song.

My best photo of the night. I do not know why I made everything black and white besides the microphone.
EDIT : No idea why the photo isn't showing up. I guess just click the link.

I can get it to you this weekend if you don't mind it being one big mp3. All I ask is that you listen to it and send me back the tracklisting because I don't know song names. Then I can cut it up into songs.

Thanks a lot for your help. I'll probably try to edit it this weekend and then post a link to split up mp3s. It depends on how busy I am at work.

agreed, can the rest of us get our hands on this? i really dig heart burns and live in the midwest, meaning there's slim chances I'll ever get to see anything off that album (sans Cowards Sleep at Night, which AM! played in DM).

I will post it for you guys because your avatar is awesome. I want to split it into tracks first though so hopefully I can do that this weekend. Just keep an eye out on this thread for the next week or so.

I've been too busy with Holiday stuff but I have the next week off so it'll get done before the new year. It only takes me about an hour or 2 to do it, it's just a matter of making myself sit down and do it. Thanks again for the tracklisting.
