Today I do my recommendations with my buddy Matt Smith:
- Don't oversleep, because I just woke up 5 minutes ago and I'm suppose to be at work right about...now.
- The Boy Least Likely To (http://www.theboyleastlikelyto.co.uk/) - British indie, kind of pop-py stuff, sort of eclectic. Just give it a try, listen to the song "I'm Glad I Hitched My Apple Wagon To Your Star" if you can find it.
- The Redwalls (http://www.theredwalls.com/) - this band from Chicago that Jax from Capitol has been pimping out to me. They sound like they're from the 70s or something; very old-school rock-n-roll sound. They're not punk or indie at all, so if this isn't your cup of tea, go somewhere else. Here's their e-card: http://capitolrecords.net/theredwalls/email/thankyou.html
-Gorillaz - the new song "Feell Good Inc." has been rocking my socks off. The rest of the album is debatable, but that song rules.
Matt:
Rival Schools "United By Fate" - I was just listening to this on my buddy's ipod and I fell in love with it all over again.
The Fall of Troy[url] - Great guys and one of the most insane bands i've ever seen.
[url=http://www.purevolume.com/mourningaftermusic]Mourning After (http://www.purevolume.com/thefalloftroy) - A fucking unbelievable rock band from here in Spokane, WA.
Umbrellas (http://www.purevolume.com/umbrellas) - It's cute.
A Taste For Murder (http://www.purevolume.com/atasteformurder) - Sick hardcore band from Salem, OR.
Kanye West"The College Dropout" - Never gets old and is always in my stereo.
Intimate *** - Japanese grindcore. I actually haven't even listened to them... but they HAVE to be awesome, there's no way around it.
Har Mar Superstar - This one's for Pauly. Shake it baby.
and then the only bands that matter...
Oasis, Ryan Adams, Eiffel 65, and [url=http://www.myspace.com/deathtograys]Death To Grays[url]
