They've really gone to shit... I hate to say it, but they dont have the same energy live anymore. I mean, did you see them lay an egg on national tv!?! Wow. I loved the EP and will give their next album a chance, but after Let It Enfold You and some piss poor live shows I dunno.

energy can only do so much, you have to sound good live. i agree, let it enfold you isn 't that great, but the ep was pretty good in my mind. i just don't know how bands do it. sound so good on record but just blow ass live. that pisses me off more than anything. i'd rather listen to decent recordings and see a dope ass live show that makes me say..."wow, these guys are even better than their record" and there has only been one band to do that for me...the band is nobody cares (now roses are red).

It's hard to go crazy on that small of a stage without an audience near you to interact with.

it' s pretty hard to have tons of energy live and sound good at the same time dude...ony a few bands really pull it off. Give the live vid.for "Rum is for Drinking.." a chance..it sounds pretty sick....also...what are you talking about, they go absolutely insane with energy live

example of band that has tons of energy but sounds mediocre live: FALL OUT BOY

example of a band that has tons of energy and sounds awesome live : GOLDFINGER

i also saw Silverstein pretty recently and I though they put on an awesome show....

[QUOTE=HoboAdam]how is this dvd[/QUOTE

Im kinda dissapointed with the dvd....i dont know why it took so long to make...I dont like how they split the performances with interviews and it could of used a lot more performances by bigger bands....i think the best part is a 3 minute clip of interview out takes.

The very idea of a live Senses Fail video scares me.

senses fail are still pretty young, they still got some growing up to do musically i think.

i think their live show is actually pretty decent. it's just buddy's vocals that kinda kill it. their performance on conan was very good, except for buddy messing up the entire first verse.

give them some time...

SF is a guilty pleasure of mine. I will listen to both the EP and Let It Enfold You and enjoy it..but i don't think i could bring myself to pay to see them live..they're just not good..flat out..

True..but most bands perform well on shows like conan..case in point Finch when they did What It Is to Burn..the energy was sick. I still have that video on my computer. It's possible and doable
