New Houston Calls Video; Van, Trailer Stolen

On a down note, last night their van and trailer were stolen, so their show tonight in Huntsville (and possibly more) has been canceled. Check out what the band had to say below:

Well, got some bad news. We were staying at a Holiday Inn Express last night, and our van and trailer were stolen. Suffice it to say, we cannot play our show tonight in Huntsville, and future shows are up in the air. Please check our website or with venues and promoters for the latest on that. Even if we're not playing, though, go to the shows! Adelphi and Self Against City are still playing ALL the shows, and they are absolutely breathtaking live. So make sure to support them.
What happened last night really took some wind out of our sails, but please, please, don't send us monetary donations. We have the best record company anybody could ask for, supportive parents, and some of this is covered under our personal insurance. All we ask is that you bear with us while we rebuild, and next time we have a show in your area, come out. Come have fun with us, because that's all we really wanted in the first place.

Just got off the phone with the chitty man, apparently they were staying at the nicest hotel possible, and from the hours of 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. the van was stolen. Their van was parked right next to self against cities and apparently whoever stole their van hit a car on the way out. All the guys are flying back home as we speak. They expect to be home and ready by the philadelphia show on the SOund Of MOre Tour.

Damn, I feel sorry for these guys. But Tom said he's looking forward to getting back on the road.. I really admire guys like these who can get back on their feet so easily.

These guys are the last people in the world that deserve this. They are some of the most sincere and considerate people I know. I consider these boys some of my closet friends in a and seeing this happen to them WRECKS me. Coming from a person who has been broken into 4+ times i know how awful it feels but to NO extent do i understand how heartbroken they must be to lose literrally everything but chittys laptop.

I know they said they do not want monetary donations but a good way to help churn some dollars for them would be to goto their Interpunk store and buy everything.

Holy crap that is the worst news ever, They are seriously one of the nicest bands i have ever encountered. They stayed with me when they played in california, and made it a point to be super cautious where their van was parked. So this is super weird that it actually happened to them.
