its been now about 16 hours since it started and nothing much has changed, many police men have died(even the encounter specialist ). the navy and army have now been called in(the hotel in near the sea).some of the initial hostages have escaped, but the terrorist have more than made up for it by ending other civilian lives. there are random bomb blasts, one right now as i write this.they say that it will all be over in a few hours time, but no ones holding their breath.

one of my friends works at the taj, he finally picked up his cell and he's fine(thank god he's a cook).

An Update:

- 31 hours have now passed, its 5 in the morning here.

- death toll reaches 130 people including police, with roughly about 300 more injured.

- few terrorist are left, but still active within the taj, oberoi, and nariman house.

- some hostages are safe. most of the hostages are britesh and american. an eye witness said the terrorist only wanted britesh and american passport holders as hostages.

- the deccan mujahideen has claimed responsibility, but indian intelligence believe that some other(bigger) terrorist group is behind it, some speculate that the lashker-e-tiaba are involved.

- news channels believe that about 4 of the initial 20 terrorist are active. these terrorist are believed to be from pakistan and are between 18 to 25 years of age.

- the police chief has requested media silence. so everyone at this point assumes that something big is about to go down in the next hours.

- i went for a ride in my friends car earlier and the streets were all deserted, but we could hear everyone glue to their tv screens(this was at 9 last night).

- there are also police check points all over the city.

new updade [things have just gone frome bad to worst] :

- 54 hours have now passed, giving you'll a number of the falalities wouldn't matter because no one really knows. people say that its now reached 250, but no one is sure.

- 60 more terrorist(women included) have now emerged and are shooting random civilians and bombing other strategic locations all over the city.

- there were 2 more bomb blasts at a railway station just 2 hours back.

- we're getting calls ever minute at my house informing us about deaths.

- my moms friend was shot dead on the road.

- my friends sister is dead, she worked in the front office at the taj and so many of my friends have just told me about all the people they knew who died.

- the coast guard has found the boat that brought some of the terrorist here, and with it they also found the heads of the owner of the boat and his crew.

- hostages are being killed off mercilessly.

- a special military unit(NSG) is now on its way to mumbai from delhi, hopefully that should change things.

- one hostage that had escaped earlier today from the taj said that they had brought large amounts of food with them and that there were 7 terrorist left there.

- they are surprisingly very well equipped with guns and ammunition.

- the prime minister of india, Manmohan Singh has asked the pakistan government to get their ISI chiefs to delhi to share information, but pakistan is too busy playing chess with everyone.

-there's an explosion right now from the taj.

- police have traced calls to karachi from a terrorists phone.

- people are no longer safe on the roads anywhere in mumbai.

- things here are really far from over.

- media silence is still being observed so you won't hear some of this anywhere else.

update:

- 76 hours up and it still isn't over.

- everything has died down at the oberoi, they've given us a list of 8 foreigners from germany, usa , canada, australia, japanese who have died, there were 2 other bodies but they haven't been able to identify them yet.

- at the nariman house an israeli rabbi and his wife were killed by the terrorist. the israeli foreign minister is here and he's pissed, but who can blame him. how the fuck could they have killed a rabbi?

- at the taj, random gun fire and explosions are heard every minute, very few terrorists are remaining there.

- muslims have not to be blamed for this, some of my friends are muslims and they were just as shocked as i was, and they lost loved ones too. because of what's been going on normal muslims are scared. this is the fault groups like the lashkar-e-toiba that use religion as means to their blood thirsty ways by brainwashing young muslims.

- things have improved since yesterday, i think that it should be over by tomorrow, but who knows.

- the pakistani government should burn. i'll give you'll reasons as to why later (i.e. should you'll need any).

i blame them because of state-sponsored terrorism, how do you think 9/11 was so cleverly orchestrated.
the pakistani government only put pressure on terrorist organizations against them, and let the others roam free.

i've posted about this once before, but anyway ummm when i was about 7 or 8 years old my family went for a vacation to kashmir. we had like a whole package deal and a tour into the extreme interior -there was a seize fire at the time, that's why tourism was at a high- was included, it was just a small little village where we were staying at. that night we lived there was our last. we could hear a man being tortured, him screaming, begging them not to kill him, screaming the whole night. next morning my dad booked a flight back to mumbai and even though it was a long time ago, i still think about it. i mean like i'm the first to admit that i don't have the balls to torture another human, but if any terrorist did anything to my family like that, if any of my family died in those blasts. i would never allow them to die i would keep them alive just so i could torture them every fucking day and night. i think the rules should apply to people who follow the rules. they don't hesitate to torture indians(or anyone else), why should we?
