im sure this has been recommended before but i thought i would again anyway. its a great ep (ransom ep) and is every bit as good as the big name pop-punk bands (tsl, fob etc.) so check it out...its awesome.

also check out the secret-luce (ive recommended it a bunch of times but nobody has checked it out) old man gloom-christmas, and supermachiner-rise of the great machine. all 3 of those cd's are full of style, mood, creativity...so check out all of them...old man gloom and supermachiner mp3's can be found at convergecult.com while the secret has a myspace page and i purevolume i believe (they are from italy so you find the right band...all english lyrics though)

ya theres nothing really special...i just think they are every bit as good as the bigger pop punk bands, but dont get any recognition for whatever reason

ya I see your point then... cuz I think they just sound too generic like many other bands... but you're right, they're just as good as those "other" bands, but don't get recognition for it.. but if they're just as good, why should they be recognized? -- there are enough medeocre bands as it is

this is true good point. i dont know i enjoy them...theyre fun, but you definitely have a good/true point...you should check out those other bands though...they are cool

supermachiner is really atmospheric, just dark dark type of stuff...its like radiohead meets converge...not screaming though...a lot of weird vocals...just different than anything out right now...if you want to check it out i can send it...its near impossible to find in stores...looking at what you listed as bands you like im not sure if youd like old man gloom or the secret...id also be happy to send those over as well
