Ryan and myself were the earliest people on here to bond over the greatness that is dillinger four. So, ive known that asshole for years (shit we were even friends on lastfm before i forgot my password). It is fucking awesome how much his band kills it.
All my friends have terrible bands and I sit there at their shows and pretend to look interested. But Jerk City fucking rules. Someday there will be a show, and it will be awesome.
Jerk City ftw (even though their fans would probably beat my ass for trying to start the lawnmoer in one of their wikked Circle Pits)

i long for the day that they go on a national tour and decide to stop in springfield and play with my band even though we sound nothing alike and they would probably think we're terrible.

Cool, thanks for the recs. Listening to some 30 sec itunes samples of Easy Tiger right now, and it sounds a lot better than the stuff that turned me off him, like Rock N Roll and Demolition. I might have to check out his last few.

Love Is Hell was a great album too. His label didn't want to put it out at first because they didn't see it selling well at all. Naturally, it's one of his best albums. Fuck labels.

+ As our search continues for a new guitar player, our friend Sean Baker of Mongoloids fame will be stepping in temporarily to fill the spot until we can find a more permanent replacement.
We all love Sean and we're looking forward to him joining us for the time being, helping us continue to bring you the heavy rock and roll music that you all enjoy so much.
On top of being a phenomenal guitar player, Sean happens to be very attractive and a man of the ladies. So, when you come out to see Jerk City at the next show, make sure you say hi to Sean and tell him how great he is. You can't miss him because he's the only decent looking fellow that will be on stage playing with us.
