The All American Rejects will be on tour with Armor For Sleep, Action Action, Hello Goodbye, Over It, and Number One Fan in April and May. Their first single will be “Dirty Little Secret.” I recently talked to someone who had heard the new album and they assured me it was "full of huge hits."

I'm so excited to finally see HGB this month. Armor For Sleep is pretty good too, it's a good tour lineup.

Am I the only one who thinks, the support bands are better than the headlining act?

I don't doubt it.
Edit: I keep screwing up a lot of shit today...
I'm excited to hear new material from them. It's been long overdue. Anybody happen to have either "move along" or "dirty little secret" because I'm having trouble finding it. If you do please im me on aim. My screen name is gitch05.
Yeah, I thought "Move Along" was the first single (and it could def. be a single). What's the album's title again? Anyone have a leaked copy yet?
they're first song is "move along" and the albums name is "move along" its in stores july 12th and it's good...just as good as the first possibly better

wait...you're AAR. I remember you now. Didn't you live on my floor with me my freshman year? Awesome. Ok...I thought you looked familair. We hung out a bunch didn't we? That's what I thought. What've you been up to these days? Same ol', same ol' ehh? Well thats cool. Umm, I don't know man..I'm pretty busy. Yeah...well....I'm not into that anymore. Yeah, sorry. Good luck with it though man. Maybe we can play Goldeneye again or Mario kart 64 just like the old days. have it your way. Nice seeing you. We had good times.

Um. ...Right. Kids are just so clever these days that I can't keep up with who's being funny and who is just being a complete fuckass. Nice try though?
But yeah. This is the tour they are on now then? Well shit. I would have liked to see that. I haven't heard any new AAR but as far as I'm concerned, the opening acts seem much more worth it.

They were cocky and annoying when they weren't playing the songs at Bamboozle (although adding the word fuck to all their songs lost its novelty after a while). But they sounded good and they played well and I liked the two new songs they played. Hopefully this cd will be as catchy and fun as the last.

Ahh im confused. I guess i assumed Move Along was the first single and its kinda odd that they'd release it and now several weeks say, o wait, this other song is gonna be our first single. And secondly, wasnt it supposed to be out june 28? I checked the website, it says in the music page "hear the new single Move along from the new album! In stores 6.28... but in the news section it says july 12? Soo AAR... which date does the entire album come out and cuz thats all that really matters?!?!
Is anyone else confused or maybe its just me burnt out from a week full of finals?

Holy crap. I don't know. We had a tournament one friday night my freshman year in college (big time losers.) We played every race 4 times. thats 64 races. I won 50 of them. I was masterful. Wario is the shiznit at that game. Not to toot my own horn, but I am good.
It would be a battle for the ages though.

No. What I would do to see Armor For Sleep on May 10th. :(
Fuck you Lee's Palace and your 19 + bookings. so overly gay.

Missy miss you build a time machine, hop in it and go back to 2002 and go to Harper dorms floor 7 and you would meet your maker. Not from me, although with the unbelievably stiff competition I did get really good at that damn game. Im not saying some of those guys got into Kart too much but I do know at least 4 occasions that the campus police shut them down. I can't remember how many nights I woke up in a cold sweat from a nightmarish storm of blue shells of death from the rear.
I HATE THAT FUCKING RAINBOW ROAD!!!!!
As for the new AAR I haven't heard any of it but im looking forward to it. Please tell me they didn't misplace their glockenspiel like Spitalfield did.
And just for the record the following bands should never EVER use glockenspiel's again.....
1. The Used
That is all.

I may be making myself sound like a complete moron...but what is a glockenspiel? what does it sound like? and when did the used use one? all i know is that one of the live limbeck songs "features [their] good friend john cheese on glockenspiel".

The fact that you call age-ist booking 'overly gay' is probably why venues try to keep you out in the first place.

the first time i read this post i thought it said "full of huge tits" im actually going to be disappointed by this album now due to its lack of porn.

Only the best instrument EVER! Well besides a theremin that is.
I may be wrong but it sounds like the Used have some glock work on "All That I've Got".
Here's a picture. If you were a lucky lucky kid you may have gotten to wail on one of these at an elementary music concert. I was never lucky enough and the pain of it stayed with me until my band teacher in high school let me play them for one song after 4 years of jokingly asking him every day if I could play the glock.

also, just for asking...you get scene points.

hmmm...i dont think we ever had those in my music class. i only remember the xylophone, but it looks kinda like that only with two sides...sorta. hmm..i dont really remember hearing it in the used, i really didnt like their new cd.

To be fair both reasons you have for not knowing about the glock are totally good excuses. Most schools had the xylophone as a cheap substitute for a glock and the song that the Used have glocks on is my least favorite Used song ever. If you arent' sure its their last single that they had a video for with the strange little kid in it and all the odd hats. The songs okay but its definitely not a good song for the Used....like I said...the Used shouldn't have songs with glocks. I can't even really put my finger on it why I dont like that song, I thought maybe because it was really mellow for the Used but since "Blue and Yellow" is one of my two favorite songs by the Used I doubt that is the reason.

i remember always being really excited when i was picked to play one of the two xylophones in music class. haha. and as for the used...oh man...i LOVE their self titled, but in love and death i felt like it was so horribly over-produced. nothing like their older stuff, and to me it wasnt like they had grown up, it just seemed like they had become really cliche. i was so dissapointed. when they toured that album i was let down again. the first two times i saw them, supporting the s/t, they were excellent...but i felt like they lost everything that i loved with the new album and that even came out in the live show.

I bout had me a one man riot when they didn't play "A box of sharp objects" when I saw them on Taste of Chaos. Some of their new stuff is okay...some of it isn't even close to being as good as what I hoped for.
