This cd is good, but I feel horribly let down after waiting so long after the ep.

I tried pretty hard to like this cd but I cannot. It just seems boring to me. Maybe i will get into it later.

defintely much different from the ep....paper rock scissors doesn't belong on this release either, its out of place here. the album sounds good though, takes some getting used to. after a few listens some of the songs are sticking to me.

hate to say it cuz i love these guys, but i agree. just couldnt get into it like the ep. i do like Here's Everything I've Always Meant to Say a lot though.

I like it, nothing like the E.P. but it's still good.

Paper Rock Scissors should've been a B-Side and feels out of place.

yeah the album was definitely a step down from the ep although maybe after a few listens it'll change.

Is it just me or doesn't it seem like this band has been pushed so hard and hyped up so much but they are just not that great....when will they stop trying to jam jamisonparker down our throats? :huh:

this is a music cite....they hype music

and this album has not been overhyped at all, not nearly as much as other bands on the site, but it should be hyped cuz i think its really good, i didnt get the sense that it was boring at all, lyrics are good and songs are super catchy

This hasn't been hyped at ALL.

You want something hyped look at Fall Out Boy, TSL, The Spill Canvas, Days Away, Bleed the Dream, etc.

I disagree. Well, maybe I hyped it myself. I loved the EP and had extremely high hopes that the album would be great. We shall see.

Upon first listen it sounds like a poor man's Days Away. Give me days away, please.

I still have yet to give it a chance though, so I won't pass any more judgement than that. But is it just me or does the font used throughout the artwork looks like it should be used on a hardcore album? A pretty good luck compared to the shit we get in artwork, but still somewhat strange considering the music involved.

I really think the old demo version of Paper, Rock, Scissors was their best song. Their EP was really good too, but I can't get into half this album. As much as I love the music JP puts out, this leaves me wanting more.

Days Away haven't been hyped that much i dont think

I haven't listened to this album yet, but i didnt like the EP, and from what im hearing, i dont think id like this any more so.

JamsionParkers new c.d. is amazing. To be honest its one of my favorite "new c.d's" and wasnt half as overhyped as some of the "bigger" bands that released a c.d in the past month. JP's sleepwalker deff was not a disapointment, you want a disapointment listen to "from under the cork tree". Although it does seem like so many bands are going with a darker route, i like the way JP did it. It really gets stuck in your head. "long way home" is probably one of the best on the c.d.
