Jinxed Call It Quits

Our friends Sarah Danna, Jenna Rocco, and Kristen Reilly -Jinxed- have decided to go their separate ways. Everyone at 111 is very sad and disappointed. The music for Jinxed's new album was coming along so well and we were very excited to have the opportunity to release it. We have decided to offer one of the DEMOS as a free download at the link below. The song is very personal and is about someone very close to us all at 111 who was very sick for some time. No one has said anything thing yet, so I will say something. Good band, one of the only girl rock bands that I would probably ever listen to, they'll be missed because they could have done some good things. Hope to see more of the girls elsewhere.

This is probably the most kickass girl band I've ever heard in my life. I've never heard girls rock out as much as they did. This definately does suck. I don't even like 99% of girl fronted bands, but I really got hooked to them. Granted they're all like 19-20 years old at the most so I'm hoping they'll all pop up in other bands soon!

Dammit...I'm not going to say this is the best 'girl band' out there...f that, I don't even care about that. Next to FallOutBoy, Jinxed is the best pop-punk band out there (depending on your definition of pop-punk). Man, this sucks...and the worst is I missed them at the Bamboozle...though I'm not even sure they played. Hopefully they get back together or form other bands or something. Though, it''ll be hard to fulfill my goal of being a groupie for Jinxed. Damn.

It's not often you see a three peice, all-girl band be so successful. Luckily, I saw them twice. And they did play at Bamboozle, and they were awesome. :love: Take care, ladies.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has ever come to a show, bought a cd, listened to a song, or gave us the time of day. We've had a pretty amazing time the past 4 years being in this band together and you guys have only made it better. We feel extrememely lucky to have been able to play music together as best friends, and even more blessed to be able to play it for any of our fans. i can't believe they are not together. they were an awesome band and sounded great at bamboozle. how could they be there one day and gone the next. sounds like an ego thing.
hopefully they will not go away completely and will join up with other bands or start something new with the remaining members.

sometimes people use others as a stepping stone to stardom then realize those stones were the actually the foundation that made them look good.

And I really like that demo, I think they should release all of them.
