2008 went by so fast! Here's my list this year. Have a happy and healthy 2009!

2008 Albums of the Year
15) Copeland - You Are My Sunshine
14) Search/Rescue - The Compound
13) Thrice - The Alchemy Index Vol. III & IV
12) The Hush Sound - Goodbye Blues
11) Ben Folds - Way To Normal
10) MGMT - Oracular Spectacular
9) Common - Universal Mind Control
8) Jack's Mannequin - The Glass Passenger
7) City and Colour - Bring Me Your Love

4) Alive In Wild Paint - Ceilings

Lydia practically ran away with my number one this year from the start. Until Razia's Shadow emerged and blew me away, Illuminate was ahead by a landslide. I had to keep them there, because even after almost a year, I still listen to the album constantly.

Wow, I definitely agree with a lot of this list, more than anyone else so far. Glad to see Travis Bryant still getting some love, definitely underrated IMO.

I'm very suprised to see The Matches A Band In Hope as a disappointment. It's my definite favorite album released this year, what did you dislike about it?

Hopefully Season 5 improves.

Also, agree with Gaslight Anthem. I'm just not getting it, his voice bores me.

matches a band in hope was one of my favorite records this year.... but it definatly takes a number of listens to really get into but after a while you really feel every single song and that band are amazing musicians...
--don't take this as anything other than an opinion.. and i respect yours.. for the most part i completly agreed with your list so good job!! hehe
