EDIT: Imo, this is a really good lineup. Thursday and Senses Fail are some of my favorite bands, and Pierce the Veil is always great live. AFI's music is decent and I love the new BMTH CD. I'm looking forward to this show.

Totally on the fence on this one. No band that I really "love" on the bill, but some bands that I like and put on really good shows (AFI, FYS), Thursday I've never seen and always wanted to, Pierce the Veil is okay live, hate seeing Senses Fail live, and I can't stand BMTH or Cancer Bats.

So we'll see what else is going on up here around the same time as TOC and if there's nothing better going on, I'll go.

The Coheed headliner rumor is pretty weak because they're touring with Slipknot during the first three months of the year, and if the dates on the original release attatched with the news report associated with the TOC line-up news speak any truth, then these two tours would overlap eachother.

From a quick glance at the itinerary, it appears that the tour is playing at a great amount scaled down venues from last year; consequently, I vote yes on this change because it should make the tour a bit more intimate than past iterations!

Those bands can't fill anything past 2-3k capacity clubs. Nothing against them, just the way it is. I'll be at Nokia in NYC.

Don't worry, kids will go just because it's Taste Of Chaos, it doesn't matter who's on the bill, they'll will line up just to be at this year's Taste Of Chaos regardless of who played. And I surely guarantee all those mallcore scenester morons will pack the place solely for Bring Me The Horizon. Fuck that fucking band to all fucking hell, especially Oliver Sykes. Good news is that I bet most of them will leave after they play, because they're too narrow-minded to appreciate the all mightiness of Geoff Rickley and Co.And if some of them stay, I will not be pleased at all if I see hardcore dancing to Jet Black New Year or something. Less crowds will make experiencing their set a hell whole lot more enthralling.

The tour stop in Denver got a venue downgrade, from The Fillmore to The Gothic. While I'm ecstatic that I get to see Thursday play at the Gothic, that also means no one's buying tickets for this. Still, the Gothic is a great medium-sized venue and it's only 15 minutes from my house. Really fucking stoked.

As of three weeks ago today the Cleveland show had only sold a 100 tickets. They won't be able to move it to the House Of Blues because Shinedown/Saliva/Halestorm are playing there that night and Peabody's Downunder, Beachland Ballroom and Grog Shop are all too small. So, it might get cancelled. Which will suck major ass because I have not seen Thursday since The Bamboozle 2007 and I'm also looking forward to seeing Bring Me The Horizon too.

Bring Me The Horizon... I honestly don't understand why all of their fans are teenies because they are fairly roughish music, but whatever... I couldn't enjoy the music because of all the screaming 15 year old girls dancing like it was a fucking Kidz Bop video anyway.

(Also, let me point out that at some point during Cancer Bats there was a BMTH autograph signing, and every kid walking out of the room was a 14-15 tiny girl who looked at her poster and screamed like she'd just gotten it signed by Joe fucking Jonas... sad)

And yes the 'hardcore dancing' during fys was just pointless. Some dumb girls with their extensions and cute makeup and cute stylish boots around their jeans jumped in and swung their arms like they knew what the fuck they were doing.

At first I thought maybe the fact that we all knew everyone would be gone before Thursday would put a damper, but it really did not at all. At least everyone who was there for them was able to be in the front. They completely acknowledged that they are not rockstars, and all of their music actually comes from the heart, and they thanked all the little kids who actually did stay for them to see what music from the heart is. So that was nice.

Yeah I wasn't surprised at Thursday out here. As much as they should have and as big as they were of an influence to my age-group around 7 years ago when WE were fifteen, young kids don't know anything about them. These days it's all about partying and dancing, even when bands like Pierce The Veil try to make it seem "hardcore" /rolling eyes. I honestly can't say why Thursday can't sell out shows anymore our here in Southern California. The best explanation I have is the same reason I don't associate with the people I grew up with out here either. What used to be about shows and music and heart when we were kids is now about stencil art, fake hair, new hip bands and new hip clubs. I don't know man, Southern California is the last place where you'll find heart and soul and passion in good music anymore, it's been abandoned and it sucks to see.

You obviously don't remember when hardcore dancing used to actually be a practice that required skill. It used to be a big deal with moves and rhythm, and it was something you had to know to do right. You'd have 15 strangers all doing the same moves at the same times, and it was awesome to watch, impressive actually. Now it's just random kids jumping in and out and flailing their limbs about, and telling their friends they "hardcore danced". Sorry.

I'm honestly not saying it just to be an asshole, (and I apologize if that's a rant) but what I saw last night and a lot of shows for the last 2 years was not hardcore dancing, hence the quotations. Geeeeeeeez.

might be missing one, but they really fucking cheaped out. I like them a little less now.

Cancer Bats did great. Got the crowd moving, and put a lot of effort into playing. FYS was super fun as always, and the mini cover inside Beatdown was Kid Rock's Bawitdaba. Pierce the Veil was fucking lame. Choreographed guitar flips, and really bad live singing. Best part was when they did the Beat It cover, and the guitarist couldn't do the solo, so they did a breakdown instead. BMTH were WAY worse than the last time I saw them. Oli was being lazy and relied on the audience a lot of the time. Thursday was fantastic, and Geoff puts so much emotion into his singing, it's insane.

The show in LA was awesome, well let me be more specific, Thursday was awesome, everyone else blew. I went to the meet and greet after the show, had a good time chilling and talking to the band. I talked to Tucker about the setlist and he said You Were The Cancer is currently a back up song and will more than likely be played at a few stops. My shots to come soon.

I would go to this for four year strong. I used to be really into thursday back when I was in early highschool. I dont know why but for some reason I havent really listened to them much in the last 5 years which is a shame.

I enjoy Bring Me The Horizon and Cancer Bats, I do not enjoy Thursday, therefore I will not watch Thursday and only watch Bring Me The Horizon and Cancer Bats. Yeah, I'm only going to Taste of Chaos for BMTH because theyre the only band on the tour that I

Your post formating = terrible. This is not your MySpace.com about me section, learn to type and post on a message board. And as many "fans" as Bring Me The Horizon has, they have haters because, honestly, they are not doing anything new or original or really even that good. Sure, the first album had some cool moments promise IMO but th new album is pretty damn awful. Nothing and I mean nothing they do is not re-used or borrowed - their breakdowns, song structures and formating has all been done time and time again. But like I said it had some cool moments and was good to run on the treadmill too but nothing more. And their lyrics? Please don't even say that you think they have good lyrics because that would probably be the biggest joke I've ever heard. And by trying to act like you're so much "different" than almost all of the BMTH groupie fan base makes you should like a complete and total jackass. Get over it and go play in traffic. K, thanks.

Cancer Bats are great live, and yeah at first listening to them on CD is hard to get into, but the more you listen to it the more it really grows on to you and it sounds amazing after a while. I definitely recomend that you listen to their stuff a lot before the show, it will get you amped on them and they are a band that are good live anyway, but if you know the songs they are 10 times better.
The new CD hail destroyer is really good all the way through, so give it a couple more listens and see if it grows on you.

My opinion on Bring Me the Horizon: they are extremely over rated, have the most annoying image and just are generally what I hate to see in bands now a days, the fact that it seems like they take themselves seriously bothers me a lot (but they may know that they are a joke). That being said some of their music is simply good, it is fun to listen to and fun to watch live (especially the new cd), the lyrics are stupid and they definitely aren't doing anything original but as much as I want to hate them, I enjoy listening to their material. I still think they are over rated but I see why they have a significant following (without the 15 year old scene girls). Plus they really are a fun band to see live, they play most of their good songs.

From what I see from their set it sounds like it will be fun, but really only 5 or 6 songs, thats a little rediculous, I was hoping for at least 7-8 if not closer to 10 songs. Still the songs they have been playing are pretty much the only ones I want to hear anyway so Im not gonna complain too much.

Again if anyone can get a full Cancer Bats set it would be greatly appreciated.

Because Thursday isn't a band to mosh/dance too? You don't have to mosh/dance at a show to enjoy it... some bands put on amazing shows that are just good to watch, Thursday is one of those bands.

I can understand moshing for anything the least bit energentic. I fucking love moshing. When I saw Startring Line most of the floor was a huge pit and the same goes for Say Anything and STD acoustic. I can recognize that BMTH is a great "at the moment" screamo/metalcore/whatever band but to say that they're more talented than Thursday is to vastly understate one of the bands that without, BMTH pbbly wouldn't have a scene to be popular in.
