Who here likes Tiger Army. I love them. I love all their albums, and they are such a great live band. Anybody else like Tiger Army?

I think that I saw a video on Fuse a few years ago and it was some generic band just erforming on some stage and it was pretty boring.

Posting to subscribe, even though nobody else seems to care about these guys. Haha...

Interview with Nick 13 about his solo album over at the other AP. (http://altpress.com/features/qa_nick13.htm)

I still care, haha.

Been hearing talk of Nick 13's solo record for awhile and I really want to hear it.

At least I'm not the only one! Haha. That interview is the first I've heard of his solo record...Now I'm excited for it! I'm actually surprised it's taken this long for him to do such a thing. Out of all the "punks" currently doing solo stuff? He seems to have a voice most fitting for it.

Thought my username would give away that I'm a fan. ;-)

I've seen him write a few blogs about it and they mentioned something about recording a country album. I think it's a good idea since TA's always had a few country-ish songs on all of their records and a couple are some of my favorite songs from them (Outlaw Heart, The Long Road) so I think a country record coudl work for Nick.

Honestly? I just thought you were trying to be deep. HAH! Joking. Sort of. :-p Either way? It never registered. Haha.

"The Long Road" and "In the Orchard" are two of my favorite Tiger Army jams, so...I agree with you! I just hope he fares better than Sarah Blackwood as far as solo stuff goes. I love the Creepshow, but hot damn was her solo record a bore.

It's supposed to say "deadly" but it wouldn't fit, haha. I kind of regret picking this name though, haha.

I'm not that big of a psychobilly fan in general so I never listened to the Creepshow or Sarah Blackwood's stuff before. Tiger Army, Mad Sin, Reverend Horton Heat and a few other bands are pretty much all I can take. TA's been one of my favorite bands for years now.

I was just thinking about this band today and why they haven't been around in a while. They need to make a new record sometime, it's been too long.

That's how I feel about "prefix-core," actually. Haha. And my blog title. But that's another story, for another time...

Regardless, I'm not too huge on pscyhobilly either. But I vote you give Creepshow a shot if you dig Tiger Army and sweet female vocals. The chick's voice is nuts. Never listened to Mad Sin, even though I probably should. That's Stephanie what's her face's band, right? The chick who sings with the Murphy's on that one song ("The Dirty Glass") slash did/does their merch sales?

Or am I totally way offbase with that? I'm a terrible Bostonian. Haha.

I think prefix-core is a pretty clever username, haha.

You're thinking of Deadly Sins.

Well, thanks. I disagree. But...I'm going to need to look into Deadly Sins then. And Dead Sin. Crap. Haha. Anyway...

Tiger Army never die?

Can't wait for Nick's solo cd. It's taking forever to come out it seems
