I tried listening to Vitalic about two weeks ago and I didn't like it. My roommate really does though. It sounds like Eurotechno to me...although I admit I only listened to like a minute or two of the whole album.

I will agree. They are becoming one of Australia's best exports. Got to love quirky indie pop.

way to be an asshole haha... A) I think pitchfork is a great website if you are searching for something different and in which they usually recommend a lot of great bands most people have never heard of. B) How do you know Ryan even found out about these bands from there, almost all of them that he recommended I had hears somewhere else besides pitchfork.

Yeah, it is, fixed.

Well, actually most of the stuff I learned from elsewhere, but I'm sure Pitchfork reviewed them as well. Maybe you'd like some stuff Pitchfork probably wouldn't review (although fewer would probably be into it here)? Burning Star Core, William Parker, Keith Berry, can those pique your interests?

If you click on the boombox on their site they have two songs up for download.

Despite Ryan's retort, this was still pretty funny.

Good job on actually naming a full list of bands people haven't heard of apparently, though. Seriously. Descriptions next time, though!
