Hopefully it will be better than their last album. They've got the potential to be huge.

Everyone say it with me:

DOUCHE!!!

whew, now that I've gotten that off my chest we can get to the real meat and potatoes of this here postage...Sugarcult are highly underrated. One of the best performances I saw at Warped last year and both of their albums are solid releases. They've been able to infuse their own sound into a pretty "genericized" (I saw this word on some forum somewhere the other day and decided to steal it) genre. They bring a good mix of the hard and the soft and the pop and the rock. I dig.

I actually love "Palm Trees...". These guys have earned their way into my favorite bands list. I really can't wait to hear the new album!

i was able to put up with these cliché's until iinadvertedly saw them 3 times last year inside a week.
it was on blink-182's UK tour.i don't like sugarcult anyway, but i thought i'd give em a chance.
First show: fare do's, dont like them, but they put on a damn good show!
second show: oh come on, you did the same damn things that you see as improvs 2 nights ago!come up with something new..until then, i'll grin and tap my foot along.
third show: oh ffs. You've done the same thign for each show the past week......you're so damn annoying....thats it, i h8 you. you're insults to the word improvising.

i didnt realylthink exactly that after each show, lol, but what im getting at is this band got very tiresome, very quickly, and needs tocome up with something unique if they wanna jump out of the sea of other bands like themselves. hell, AAR are cliché, but at least what they do is noteworthy, and each show of theirs differs.

You're a frickin idiot... does anyone expect a band to be different on every stop of a tour?! That's why u go once and wait till they come around on a different tour cuz then they ll had time to switch stuff around and try new songs. RETARDED.

I saw them on warped 2002 and they were soo good and then on the main stage last year and it was a huge letdown. They lost my attention so much I didnt even know tony from mest came on stage until my friend showed me her pictures from it.

As long as it is released right before the summer... somehow these guys always end up in my summer fun coming of age rotations.

not at all. i don't mean slightly similar now. i mean EXACTLY the same. out of 3 bands on the tour, 2 provided a different experience each show with the same songs and sugarcult after the first time jsut got worse and worse. i dnt like them anywaay, so i guess that doesnt help.

Hopefully it will be better than Palmtrees....don't get me wrong it was a solid album...a little ballad heavy it seemed like or maybe I just had huge expectations after Start Static that they didn't quite live up to. Still a solid album but not the masterpiece I was expecting. For some reason my expectations will be less for this one and I will probably enjoy it more.
