Yeah I didn't put them on because I couldn't think of like a definitive song of theirs to put on. I also need to get out my old punk books and look for a couple others. Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers, Richard Hell & the Voidoids, and Blondie will eventually make it onto that first disc. I need more good 90s songs that don't stray too far into emo or pop-punk.

Part I is badass. Why can't other people learn to make better mixes?

Husker Du!!!!
This is an awesome mix!! Pretty much everything I could think of is on here already. Offspring would indeed be a nice addition to part III. This would be great for fans of modern punk to find out how it all started.

"Beef Balogna" hahaha. Yeah true. This is more of a work in progress than an actual mix.

fear wrote so much better songs, ya know?If you're doing a "history of" with the "definitive" songs... you're not going to choose some random-ass song or b-side off a little known release though, you're going to choose the ones that people know the most.
Nice going with Television! :)

Fucking sick sick list.
Subhumans - Drugs of Youth
Rudimentary Peni - Dutchmen or Nothing But a Nightmare
Dead Kennedys - Forward to Death
would all be clutch additions to this mix.
90's punk definitely needs Jawbreaker. I'd go with Chesterfield King. The Lawrence Arms and None More Black would also go great towards the end of disc III. Necrotism byTLA, Bizarro Me by NMB

You should have a future section for your project. Put in the new bands now that are influencing the scene.

I dunno if you're making the mix on strictly punk music, but if you're using the whole era then some Sublime wouldn't hurt.

not bad at all
the only obvious bands I would say are missing --- Screeching Weasel and The Circle Jerks
other than that, nice job

Yeah, I'll finish this off once I finish finals and those two will definitely be added. I intend to make each disc about 20 songs or so.
Oh yeah and throw in Richard Hell and the Voidoids-"I Belong To The _____ Generation"
