40% off their ridiculous prices. They will do this again probably a week before Christmas.

hmm...looking at it, it's not really worth it. amazon is pretty much the same price when the discount is used, and with free shipping.

Some DVD sets, despite their huge markup at Borders, are cheaper with this coupon than on Amazon

I went there to get Poultrygeist a little while back.
And mind you, this is a low budget movie made by troma ent. The guys who made the toxic avenger.
Wanna know how much they wanted for this dvd?
30 some freakin dollars.
I did not buy it.

This is standard MRSP for all single disc DVDs. It's not Borders fault.

When Borders did that buy two, get one free thing, that was pretty neat because you could split it with a friend and not spend too much.

Their DVD prices are absurdly high. I bought a couple seasons of Six Feet Under on Amazon the other day, and they were $20 a piece. Just out of curiosity, I checked on the Borders website...$64 a piece. Even with the 40% off, its still 38 dollars.
