By the way, I'm expecting plenty of the "you're too young" posts but I've never been one to act on emotion. I've thought about this for awhile and I know what I want.

I'm 23 and I can't imagine getting married at this point in my life. I'm still paying off student loans and figuring out what I want to do with my life. I don't want to have to take into account or take responsibilty for someone else's life. Call it selfish, but at this stage in your life, I think you're allowed to be a little selfish!
Watching people that are so young and in some cases, still in school get engaged and married is driving me a little nuts to be honest. I have a bad feeling that most of these marriages will ultimately end in divorce. Maybe I'm a little cynical, but I will probably be waiting until I'm close to 30 before settling down and getting married.
