i know i always see alot of hate on these guys on the boards, but i have to know what everyone thinks. i know alot of people liked them when they started, but once they became 'popular' everyone was like 'oh i hate them'. i had the privlege of hearing some of the new material at a practice of theirs recently and its nothing like page avenue. just thoughts on SOTY

I really liked "Perfect" by Simple Plan. Wasn't into the rest of their stuff but that was a nice song.

They played at my college and I loved them live...tons of energy (and acrobatics). I saw 'em at warped tour last year too and they were great, but I opted to go see Letter Kills halfway through the set.

I liked the song that was on the Warped Tour Sampler two years ago, and because of that picked up the cd when it came out, I just couldn't get into it at all, aside for that one song.

i love em. really amazing fun band that i think are gonna bring a lot more of their hardcore influence into the new record and to the mainstream.

pretty much with bands, i dont care who likes em, who hates em, whether theyre assholes, or they have drug problems. if the music is good, then i listen to it. if its not, then i dont. its not like im their friends, im just listening to a cd.

one of the problems with Page Avenue was that I had 3 of the songs for months and months before the release and I did get sick of it quickly. It is still a cool cd, they are just due for some new material.

I like them a lot. Great live show. Page Avenue got old after a while but I can still put it in now and sing along. Can't wait to hear the new release!

i like page avenue but i was disappointed by the live performance. i thought the singer missed a lot of high notes and then just missed a bunch of reg notes in general. but they do have a lot of energy and look like they are having fun.

another prob i have with that polka song...they say fucking a lot. in some songs it works real well. for that song it doesnt work, it sounds kind of like its there just for the hell of it and doesnt add anything to it. ok im done with my tangent.

I got the DVD/CD today and now I remember why I loved them when I first heard them. I had gotten away from them after awhile, but hearing this just kicks my ass. Listening to the live CD is so much better than listening to Page Avenue in my opinion. Tons of energy and makes me feel like it's summer again.
