very good review, I honestly love The Higher's album. Rock My Body is one of the catchiest songs I have heard this year. The rest of the CD is amazing as well. I would definitely recommend you listen to this if you have yet to hear it.
I would give it probably a 8.5/10...a little higher, no pun intended :animateds

at a first glance i disagreed with the 7/10 and thought it should be higher, but the review really supported his decision. very respectable. great cd. buy it.

good album, good review. i pretty much agree with everything you said except for calling stay what you are and deja entendu masterpieces. i agree that they shouldnt compare the higher to these albums because they are much better. but callin the two aforementioned albums masterpieces is a little over the top. don't get me wrong, they are effing great albums, just i dont think its safe to call them masterpieces.

This album takes some getting used to. Histrionics (the song ) is a classic.

does anybody else wish histrionics was longer? cause 1:14 is not long enough. it could be made into an even better song.

idk i think the short length might be a reason why its so good. plus they basically sing it twice. they would have had to add to it. i personally love it how it is. just put it on repeat.
really good review indeed.. i agree with almost everything u said. this is such a nice album, one of my faves this year so far for sure. go buy histrionics now if u havent yet. the higher r so good.

It's just like Matchbook Romance's song 14 balloons. I think that is their best song and its just as short.

at exactly one minute into "diaries" they use a guitar riff that TREOS used in shirtleves

i like this cd. nothing amazing, but its honest and catchy. I personally think it surpasses Fall Out Boy. It has a little more variance within the cd. Of course, this cd is surpassed by The Starting Line, which itself is surpassed by Days Away.
Go to Target and buy TSL. its 7 bucks. throw in a wild cherry pepsi and its 8

Review is dead on. This is a great album. Finally a pop/punk band that doesn't pound power chords every song.

I really like this album. It sounds amazing. I just love the drum tones and the guitar work. I cant help but sing along to every song. I just feel like it doesnt flow that well. But the strong songs on it are worth paying for. I am so positive...

Excellent review Garrett!!! You took most of the words out of my mouth. I love this line:
"Either way, they may as well have strapped a Hershey’s chocolate bar to the CD, because the title track is really a sweet treat, centered around Seth Trotter’s singing."
haha that made me laugh.....
P.S. I love you ;)
