should women have the right to vote? have we done a big mistake in letting them be able to vote? and how can we possibly go about removing that right? maybe if we say they get a free pair of shoes if they give up the right to vote? As we all know women get all crazy when they have their period and all that menstruation blood to their pretty little heads and get all crazy, and clouds their judgement. is limiting it to women on their period can't vote enough? thoughts?

They want equal rights but I'm not allowed to slap them when they fuck up. Talk about girls being sexist and greedy.

Until women register for the draft, they shouldn't be allowed to vote.
this is the most retarded thing i have ever heard

I'm sure I come off as sexist and/or an asshole, but women are always preaching equal rights and I just think that it's unfair that it's illegal for me to not register for the draft while women don't have to.
i think its unfair that women are expected to go to work and all of that and still come home and fix dinner for everyone, clean up the house and take care of the kids.

There's no way I'm going to come out of this argument without looking like an ass, my first comment was a bit extreme, I'll admit it was stupid.
But I still think that it's unfair that only men register for the draft. For years now women have fought for equal rights, claiming that women are just as capable as men. And I have no problems with that, I support equal rights but I think it's a little unfair for that women don't have to register for the draft.

personally, i think that men and women have different strengths. women are family tied and men are stronger, more defensive. not many women i know would do well in combat....most probably couldnt even hold up a gun...

Nobody in this country has been called into the Army because of the draft, and President Bush has said he won't reinstate the mandatory draft, so I don't really your point holds much water, since it really isn't an issue right now

I agree with you. Not with that point, per se. But in general, I agree.

It isn't a big issue right now, but at the same time men still have to register for the draft. So it's a small thing but with the way the world is today it's not unlikely that if the draft rules don't change it could be a big issue few years.

I only made one point, so I don't really see how else you could agree with me

I agree with your main idea.

She used to be a self-proclaimed hippie back in the day. And now...it just seems like too big a personality change.

Anne Coulter? If so, no. But I read like the first chapter of one of her books and it was freaking awesome.

"It would be a much better country if women did not vote. That is simply a fact. In fact, in every presidential election since 1950 - except Goldwater in '64 - the Republican would have won, if only the men had voted." - [12] (http://www.guardian.co.uk/weekend/story/0,3605,956452,00.html) May 17, 2003.

I didn't realize she was that extreme. The only quote of hers I remember is something like "how do you convert a liberal into a conservative? Kick them out of mommy and daddy's house and make them pay for themselves."

I just saw Anne Coulter on Leno, and while I agree with her on some points she's a bit too extreme for me. Almost like Michael Moore but better looking and less obnoxious.

Also, dolphins should vote.

Ok, would you really want a bunch of women going into combat to defend our country? No offense to females, but they're just naturally built weaker and less aggressive than males. Most of them wouldn't even make it through basic training. Now I know that there are women in the military, but those ones are obviously tougher than the average female. Men still do, and always will make up the majority of any military institution.

i can't imagine many women would be of much use in the army anyway - as someone said above, most of them probably aren't strong enough to hold up a gun. [yes, i am female. i would be a liability in the army.]
also, i don't really see what mandatory drafting has to do with women being able to vote anyway. it's not the only issue to be considered when voting.
