you know that scene at the beginning of "unamerican graffiti" (third season) where veronica's speaking to a classroom and she puts down that one boy after he makes a patronizing comment? someone should put that clip up on youtube. one of my favorite moments in the series.

I've been rewatching from the beginning and I'm on Season 2 right now. I think I'll always rank it last because there's so much going on plot-wise and character-wise and a lot of things that happen just upset me so much. I'll never get over the Cassidy reveal. Not Beaver, his name is Cassidy! :-(

Edit: Veronica being humiliated on stand because of her STD is another moment that pisses me off, the whole trial really. So much upsetting crap, not enough catharsis for me at the end of the season.

Yeah, I'm sure I'll like it as well. Summer is usually a great time for me to catch up with a lot of shows that I never got to watch. I finished Alias in only a few weeks last summer. It was great.

Already have a pretty long list of shows downloaded. :-) Can't wait!

If we're talking objective quality, no. It's not good. But it has likeable characters, is consistently funny and milks two good will-they-or-won't-they's in addition to the disposable pleasures of your average cop show. I enjoy it.

Season 3 completely outshines 2 and 1 in the same way the second outshines the first. In all fairness I still have 6 episodes left, but season 3 is just so much better in every way.

I don't see what's wrong with season 3. :shrug: I like that there isn't one season long mystery, and they do a much better job of including new and secondary characters. In my opinion, season 2 is the mess.

It's by far the best. I can barely watch the old episodes because they seem lame in comparison. I can't even imagine where you guys are coming from.

I don't see what's so crazy about that...it's funnier, way more intense, all the smaller characters are better...especially the dean, way more Logan who is without a doubt my favorite part of the show, every single episode ends in one of those intense scenes that only come like every 5 episodes in the first and second seasons...

I mean these are all personal opinions. And imo...it's way fuckin better

I'm trying really hard not to be judgmental and/or mean, but I couldn't disagree with you more. Veronica and Wallace are as much the heart of the show as Veronica and Keith.

Now Season 3 has more Mac, I like Parker, I like Piz, Dick really shines more, I like the Dean, I even like that Max guy and Chip, there's more Logan and Veronica, I could go on. I think the episodes in season 3 are strong, no weak plot lines or weak characters. It's all interesting.

But of course, Season 1 of Veronica Mars is the best, and one of the best seasons of television ever.

I think Season 2 had its ups and downs, but the overarching plot was impressive and almost as scary when it came down to it as the first. And that finale is just wall-to-wall nail-biting intensity.

Just finished the whole series, and even though I know it won't be anywhere near the popular opinion, I'd say that the show got progressively better. Logan is one of my favorite tv characters of all time

I finished watching all the seasons and I'm really disappointed in the ending. There was so much going on, I really wish there were two more episodes for a full season to at least tie up some of the loose ends. Overall I really enjoyed it and wish it didn't have to end so soon.

One of the producers was on one of the Kevin Smith podcasts last week (Plus One Per Diem i'm pretty sure) and basically shot down the movie happening unless something major changes. Reiterated that cast and crew were into it, but no studio will even begin to think about financing it. :-(

Yeah it was pretty obvious that that's what was going on since KBell and Rob Thomas both have expressed such a high interest in the movie over and over again, yet no headway at all has happened, sucks to finally have that confirmed though.
