Thrice (http://www.thrice.net) updated their web journal with the following:

"Hello. Dustin and I just finished a three night marathon of Star Wars Episodes IV through VI. We're going to bear through Episodes I and II to get ready for Episode III. We've heard promising stuff from reliable sources about the new one. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Aside from Geekdom, we've been banging through some songs the last few days. We're tracking a lot of songs live so it's going somewhat quick. It's nice. It feels like this is how it should be, capturing the moment of a band playing a song together, just like a band ought to do. It's as pure as can be. We've gathered a decent amount of footage and I'm going to sift through it to give you guys a little peek at what's going on here. I'll have it done soon. I promise! Thanks for checking in. Teppei."

Yes Ep 3 is going to pwn, so is the new Thrice album.
I don't see why people are so negative about Eps 1 and 2 personally I like them.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS CD! there are so many amazing bands that have cds coming out in the next couple of months or are recording right now.

Thrice has shown me since I was a wee lad they have what it takes to be a solid band. And they're one of the few who stick around in my "bands list" through out the years. Cheers to them.

thrice is one of the few bands in the "scene" today that will leave a lasting impression on the music industry for sure. I cannot wait any longer for this cd. :love: :( :love: :( :love:

This should be the best album in awhile........MAD LASTING POWER!!!!

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's when they all get in the stupid with their instruments and play the songs all together and record it, instead of playing and recording each individual instrument by itself.

because phantom menace sucked.
attack of the clones was better...but still not great.
from what i hear, Revenge of the Sith is sounding like a darker Empire Srikes Back. Kevin Smith likened it to Othello. And everyone knows Empire Strikes Back is the best episode.

I could never pick a favorite Star Wars film, but I'm pretty sure that Revenge of the Sith will be one of the better ones.

Oh those crazy Thrice guys. Sally's if you ask me...be real nerds and watch all of them in one sitting not on 3 consecutive nights.

And once you have got through that challenge try the same thing with the extended version of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

And for the masters of DVD watching and personal sloth....do like I did one weekend I had off this year. I watched the first 3 seasons of 24 back to back to back with no interruption besides bathroom breaks and one trip to McDonalds. Which was foolish because then I couldn't even stay awake the next day to make it to the first episode of the 4th Season.

me and a buddy are planning this. We are going to bring out a cooler and a mini fridge into the living room where we shall watch all three LOTR extended versions. We will eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and only be allowed to leave in between movies, where there will be a 5 minute recess. A lot of capri sun and lunchables will be eaten.

This makes me excited on many levels. I, too, am anxious about the new Star Wars. I grew up on it -how could I not. I also find my nerves afire at the thought of a new Thrice album. That tingling sensation is a good thing.
