It's definitely better on the PC, I've played both versions and the XBOX version is a very much so abridged version of the game. Despite that fact, it's a rockin' game and I love it even though it gives me headaches after playing it for a prolonged period of time. :)

I don't doubt it, now if only I had a better PC! haha. I need a powerhouse, for sure.

It's really abridged? I didn't know that, all the reveiws made it seem like it was a perfect port. Did they leave anything out? Either way, I agree, usually the shooters are better on PC, I just NEEDED to play this game!

Ahh, I understand. No need for you to go further I don't think, the game is all about atmosphere and if you can't get into that, the game just isn't for ya. Get Half-Life 2! : )

actually thats exactly how i felt about it and that it was so predictable where monsters were and where they were going to be. i actually dont remember being afraid at all.

star wars republic commando is better, rent or buy that.

i didnt like it at all..the game was way too dark for my eyes..they tryed to make it all scary and it just came out annoying too me.it was really dumb that you couldnt have your flashlight and gun out at the same time this dude is killing demons from hell and he doesnt have the brains to attach the flashlight to the gun yea okay......very boring also and the ammount of ammo that you get is lame..i hate conserving ammo..thumbs down on this game from me

doom 3 sucks....i dont like to spam anymore hah so im staying on topic.....it also bugged me on this game that you can kill the zombie guys in one hit with the flashlight but it takes 4 bullets or so to drop them thats fucking retarded...this game blew...all the hype for nothing..

i didnt even get too use cheats i hated it so much i broke it and told hollywood video it wouldnt work for me and got 2 free rentals ;) and than i rented episode 3 the game and i havent used the other one yet...i heard it was pretty short they just released an expansion pack..i wonder how terrible that is..

yea they did....it was great it wasnt for very long it was a quick shot but it still showed them..thats a good plan...i should try that sometime...i wanna go rent some movies now but the video stores are closed :(

I have a feeling Quake 4 will be the game everyone will love from ID in this coming Vid Generation. It has the power and graphics of the Doom engine, but it's not about the fear factor and more about the shooting up the strogg cyborgs. :D :waffen093
