my names AJ and I sing. I am located in South Jersey.
i recently quit my old band almost arlington (http://www.myspace.com/almostarlington) and am looking for a new band to join.

i sing, not scream. i am interested in bands like All Time Low, Jack's Mannequin, Something Corporate, The Starting Line, Valencia, The Goo Goo Dolls, Hit The Lights, etc. you get the idea.

we live on the jersey shore. lakewood, howell, jackson. our requirements are If you're over the age of 18, have a license and transportation, capable of singing, and you're capable of practicing 1-2 nights a week in Central New Jersey, and being able to play shows on the weekend..and heres our little bio from our site.
SKYLINES AND VALOR is a rock band from Central New Jersey. The band is comprised of 5 friends, all ex members of 5 different bands who were all staples within New Jersey's thriving metal and hardcore community. Eric and Felipe are from AUTHORS. Phil was from AT REST. Dave was from THE KISSCUT. Kyle was from GRAY LINES OF PERFECTION and NO HOLLYWOOD ENDING. After years of writing, recording, touring and trekking up and down the East Coast every weekend playing shows in their prior bands, each had felt it was their time to move on and pursue their college educations with music taking a back seat. Being careful not to abandon their passion for writing, recording, and performing music, the 5 joined forces this fall to write positive, hope inspiring music as an antidote for the rigors of life. The music is a welcomed change of pace for the members who abandoned their darker musical pasts and opened the doors for hope, encouragement, strength, perseverance, positivity and unity.
The band recorded Pre-Production Demos at Subterranean Studios this August with Engineer John Forrestal. There are no vocal tracks because WE NEED A VOCALIST. ANYBODY WHO IS INTERESTED, PLEASE MESSAGE THE BAND FOR MORE INFORMATION!
We hope to have music up this winter, as well as bringing our live show across the Northeast this winter! Please check back for updates!

give it a year and see where they're at. they'll be at the same place they've been for the last 3 years. think what you want, you can't judge accurately where they are heading unless you know them personally.
i've been out of that band for over a year now and my voice is still on their myspace. they have yet to go get new recordings.

hey man i know its probably not the style of music your looking for but i gave your tracks a listen and liked your voice so id thought id give it a shot. our bands kind of post-hardcorish/melodic rock type vibe like circa survive/kaddisfly/thrice/etc. and were in need of a new singer, i put an add up in the classifieds a while ago with no response our myspace is myspace.com/islandsunderme if you wanna give it a listen. Were ready to head back into the studio and put some actual production value behind those tracks and record an ep if the right singer comes up so let me know. Thanks dude!

yo the old shit sounds good. if ur interested i jam with a couple dudes from medford/mt. laurel. definitely pop-punk/pop-rockish.
the june spirit, the starting line, rufio, the dangerous summer are all huge influences.
i can post some videos of our practices on youtube if you are interested in hearing us.
we've all been playing for a while, but never in the same band together.
since we're just starting out it's obviously not the tightest sound in the world, but we're all pretty focused.
if it doesn't sound like something that'll work just wanted to wish you the best of luck.
i'm sure you'll land on your feet eventually.
hell, i'd even be down for a piano/acoustic side project. it's hard to find dedicated musicians in sj cause most kids either smoke too much pot or listen to shitty hardcore. fml.
