The staff recommendations for the week can be found below:

i miss sunday recommendations the way the used be. when like everyone on the a.p.net staff would post all these super cool bands you'd go check out on mp3.com and most of them would be super cool pop punk bands. i miss those days :( but i say everyone go check out why versus rome at www.myspace.com/whyversusrome and go check out there 2 new songs comming from there upcomming demo :)

My personal recs would be

Sloppy MeatEaters - Conditioned by the LAUGH TRACK...I picked this up at a show yesterday and it's nothing shy of amazing.
No No Not Ever - Busy Girls Can't Remember...Very nice debut effort from a semi-local band...Check 'em out! ;)

Was that for me? If so, this is a music site...people come here to learn about and talk about the bands that they love and sometimes to find their new favorite band. Eager Seas just happens to be that band for me. I don't have any connection to them other than I heard their songs and I love them. I think that a lot of people would feel the same way. THAT'S WHY THE SITE EXISTS.
