Unstable I rush through/unseeing in a world dark with greed for riches/lies are its language/skepticism it's religion/crime its economy/ the light of truth doesnt reach there/blocked because it interferes with profits/of corporations swollen with corruption/souls sacrificed in the pursuit of a buck/I hate this world and I have had enough
This nightmare stands/not confined to my dream/Its the average life of the American city/Land of the free/If you can afford it/Slaves to money,hypnotized by the green/whole lives devoted to social climbing/what kiind of existence is this? Theres more to life then money or fame/I see people worshipping these things and wonder/ What became of the American dream?
When faith is condemned/and extravagence rewarded/Decadence is the name of the game/who can hoard the fastest/who can afford to overdose/Poverty condemned/Pity forsaken/Scorning the poor in silent judgement/In a world of greys, everything is black/Society is looking in a mirror, but cannot see ites reflection/the mirror shatters/but society doesnt see
Now I stand alone in a room, floor covered in broken glass/amongst the ruins of a mirror/shattered for its honesty/Trust in God they say/ Well its not a God of honesty/ putting it on all they live and die for/all they lie and steal and kill for/ its they only thing they think of living for/what is to become of society/once the mirror is broken?
