I took a look at the Grammy nominations, and I personally find the Grammy Awards to be laughable. I understand that bands like Coldplay are talented, and many people connect with their music, but the Grammy's is nothing but another billboard awards popularity contest.

What do you guys think?

i agree but i still end up watching them every year. you just have to wait for your favorite musicians to get popular.

the grammy's are an award ceremony for the most popular musical artists....remember these bands that are winning and being nominated are extremely popular. Mainstream artists = popular, = awards.

That's the reality of it though. Everything about it is mainstream and what is the most popular right now. Which is why Hip Hop and R&B and that crap has been running it for years. That's what is popular right now.
