12/3/08 Concrete Street Amphitheater - Corpus Christi, TX

I only remember the opening and closing songs, the rest isn't in any particular order.
You Know How I Do
Cute Without the "E"
You're So Last Summer
Bonus Mosh Pt. II
Set Phasers to Stun
A Decade Under the Influence
What's It Feel Like To Be A Ghost?
Liar
Up Against
Twenty Twenty Surgery
Spin
Error: Operator
Miami
And three new songs (New Again, Catholic Knees?, and I forgot the name of the other one)
MakeDamnSure

Envy on the Coast opened with Sugar Skulls and closed with Mirrors. They also played The Gift of Paralysis and a new song. I'm not terribly familiar with their songs/song titles so I don't know the rest, sorry :/

It's one of the few songs I like off Louder Now... it's good live.

I wish This Photograph Is Proof was being played, it used to be my fave TBS song.

I don't know why they're doing any of those songs from Louder Now (except "MakeDamnSure") instead of "My Blue Heaven". That's easily one of their best songs overall. The set is a little Louder Now heavy. I figured with the lukewarm reception from fans that they'd be down to only played 4 or 5 songs from it - not 8. They must be proud of it or tired of a lot of the older stuff I guess.

I like "Error:Operator" live too, but it's not one of my favorites from the album. "This Photograph Is Proof" is probably my least favorite song from all three albums besides "I'll Let You Live". I think it's one of the only TBS songs that annoys me. I think the chorus just sounds really whiny and immature, even for them. With "I'll Let You Live", it's mainly just kind of bland. I'd probably prefer hearing bland instead of annoying to be honest. I know a lot of people do like it though and it was a big single with being on the Spiderman 2 soundtrack, so it's cool.

Of course, there are a few of my favorite TBS songs I've never heard live and probably never will like "Slowdance On The Inside", "Head Club", "Your Own Disaster", and "I Am Fred Astaire".

yeah, it was a single too, weird that they wouldn't play it. They also used to alternate this song and "One Eighty By summer" as their ending song a few years ago, and now they don't play either one.

Then again, they also used to end with "There's No 'I' In Team" I can't remember the last time they played that!

TBS played all of the same songs tonight from the first post except that they played bike scene also. Adam and Fozzie also came out after the show and hung out, even though Adam was sick. Pretty great show, even with no encore. EOTC has progressed very well as a band since the last time that I saw them and their new songs sound really good. Also, Adam break-danced during TBS's set.

The show did sell out, but it seemed like a regular show that didn't sell out at the blue note. I guess that a lot of college students bought tickets weeks before the show and forgot that they had finals. Oh well, it was a good show, even though there was no encore.

agreed about the louder now part.

but i've lived in athens and have been having to drive to ATL for the past four years to see almost any decent shows, so it was great to not have to do that for once.
