so i saw the mars volta about two weeks ago at Lupo's in Providence and i have to say it was definitely the most live and energetic performance ive ever been to. but i was confused about two things./ first of all, weren't they toruing with someone/ like i think called DJ Nobody? and also...whose their horn player? i thought since the sax and flute were only on "Cassandra" they wouldnt need him, but he ended up contributing to most of their songs if not playing additional percussion alongside omar's brother marcel.

Ridiculous. Ridiculously good I mean. The Mars Volta are so amazing. I HAVE to get a ticket to the SOAD/TMV Tour coming up.
