should i donate my CD's to the library?

so as a few of you know, i work at the library. and ive been thinking lately about donating my CD's to the library. because i always think its really cool when i see something like the blood brothers, or hot rod circuit, or some other random indie CD in the library. and i think itd be awesome if the library had more good CD's to check out. i dont use any of my CD's since i just rip them all and put them on my ipod and then they just sit in my closet collecting dust. another option i have is selling them at the used record store, which yeah, id make some money off of, but i think itd be a lot cooler and more charitable to donate them to the library. what do you guys think?

I would say keep them. But if you definitely aren't gonna do that, sell them. They won't be appreciated in a library and YOU get nothing out of it, except a good feeling from being charitable, but what has charity ever done for you!!!??? Sure, they tell you Timmy is ill, and you cough up....then you see Timmy livin' it up and snorting coke off a hooker's ass.

decide which ones your getting rid of, then take half to the library and the other half to a used record store. of course take the more popular ones to the store so you can get more money off of them. ;)

doesnt sound like a bad idea. or take EP's and stuff like that to the library, and whatever the record store wont take (theyre picky) and sell the rest.
