Be prepared to walk A LOT. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing because its a very long day. And people bump into you a lot, even if youre not in the pit, just walking around. Food and drinks are expensive but thats pretty expected I guess.

I live in michigan, it's my third time going this year, I'm very excited......if you are a girl or are with a girl hide your camera in your bra! like the little side part under your arm. wear sunblock (duh), year comfortable jeans, because you'll get hot and sweaty and wet and your pants can rub and all that stuff, all of you and your friends can buy food, or you can buy one thing and share it, I don't know about other people but to me they give you A LOT of food and it's very filling, on the water part, there's always a hose running on the far side by the green hill (you'll see what I'm talking about when you're there) on the inside of the fence, most kids just drink from there, its free and you can have as much as you want. But, I would bring some money for food and drinks, because you get really dehydrated and hungry during the day, eat before you leave so you don't eat right when you get there and you can save your money for later on in the day. Also, keep your eyes open while you're walking around, most of the bands all walk around, like last year I met justin sane from Anti-Flag, and Jake from The Casualties, just by walking around and seeing them walk around. Oh yeah, and if you get tired, that green hill I mentioned earlier, I know a lot of kids will go over there just to lay down and get some rest waiting for bands to play.

Oh man, I thought maybe I was the only one! I'll be at concerts and girls will say 'how do I get my camera in'. So, I tell them that and they look at me weird

Hahaha yeah! At big shows sometimes over here they check your bag, so camera in shirt in sometimes necessary :)

I don't know if I'm going to be able to handle the kind of crowd that is going to be there this year. I was barely able to tolerate it last year. Not to mention most of the bands I wanted to see/saw played on a stage with HORRIBLE sound. It was mainly like a large music store for me. I bought a lot of cd's and a couple shirts.

8 years in a row...don't drink the night before and find a schedule early...everything else is easy

make sure you eat before you go in, sunblock is key, i brought a disposable camera last year just becuse i didnt want to have to worry about holding onto a digital the whole time. thats about it. you dont really need tips, just go there and expect to have a lot of fun, just be prepared for a looonnnggg day.
oh and the parking lot is crazy when its all over. it took us 2 and a half hours to get out last year at one of the NJ dates. the closer you park to the exit, the better, its worth all the walking to the entrance of the venue.

someone told me that you cant have digital cameras....is this true?

you go, you find the bands you like and the times they are playing, you see the bands, you go home and pass out. Not too difficult unless you're retarted, in which case everything is difficult.

If you do, some asshole might take it and step on it for fucking up his "show experience by waving your damn camera in front of his face."

yeah i wouldnt take a digital in, always a chance of dropping it, or having it get lost...so even though I have one, i usually always buy a disposable for stuff like warped...

I wouldn't yell at someone about it but that gets fucking annoying.

Find someone with a press pass and ask to see the schedule. They get the updated/last minute changes backstage when they're setting up times for interviews and shit.

you're not allowed to bring in ANY camera, the only ones youre supposed to use are the $10 disposable ones they sell...that's why I mentioned the bra idea earlier

the only bands i would really want to see there are the bled, the dillinger escape plan, motion city soundtrack, saosin, and reggie and the full effect

i had NO problem getting my digi in last year at the hershey date. i had it right in my hand, and tehy just let me go in. no questions asked. however, that could be a problem this year (at scranton), b/c they can be huge dicks abou cameras.

I would say...

1. Fill a milk jug with water and take that 'cause water costs $4.00 a bottle. At my date the temperature is always 100+ with assloads of humidity. A couple of years ago, my buddy and I spent $40 on water alone.

2. Take a tiny notepad and a pen and write down when your favorite bands are playing and where, that way you don't have to waste time walking back to the schedule tent every half hour.

3. Have fun!

if that's the plan, better off buying a gallon jug of water, or visit the website of the place you're going to. some places don't allow open water containers and some have a limit on how big a jug you can bring in, closed or not.

You must speak from experience.

Grr....im pissed. Warped isnt coming to Omaha this year, that's a three year absence now. It was supposed to come to, im praying that they are still waiting to clarify the venue.
