Alright. Lets settle this once and for all. Did you Like Dance Gavin Dance better with Johnny Craig or now with Kurt Travis? This was really hard for me to choose, because some of my favorite DGD songs are from when Johnny was in the band, but the new album was my favorite of the three. I went with Johnny though. I think he defined their sound and got so many people into the band, me being one of them. His voice gives me an everlasting erection.

Sorry they don't deserve any credit.They have generic,shitty, and trendy bands. Why do you think whenever Rise Records/ their bands news is posted their is more negative than positive comments. The only one I can stand is Emarosa. Basically I grew out of this shit genre years ago when I discovered good music. The general opinion on AP is that Rise Records in atrocious.I think those bands are all complete generic dogshit. I won' t make fun of you for liking them but since you are 14 you will probably grow out of many of those bands within a few years. I used to like some stuff like that but my tastes drastically changed in the last four years. Once you realize how much amazing music thre is out there you begin to value generic and unoriginal music a lot less. By the way DDG and TDWP are no longer on Rise Records. They are on Geffen/Suretone and Ferret.

to be perfectly honest, the only bands that could be considered "trendy" on rise are breathe carolina and watchout there's ghosts. otherwise, most of the other bands on rise are very talented. their roster is also very diverse, their bands range from pop-punk to tech-death metal so i find it hard to believe everyone can find something negative about their bands(have you not seen the fucking love for the years gone by). in fact(save with a few bands), i'm sure most people couldn't identify that some bands were on rise without that fact being given. therefore, just because a lot of people don't like a few bands on rise it now turns to a full-on hate for a label with very good bands. i'm also other labels around have similar bands as rise so it's ridiculously unfair to make rise a scapegoat(essentially that's what it is).

I heard from another interview that they were going back to the Alls Well Sound. While I love that album I would like to see more progression from the BPB type stuff. I feel they are reverting back to their old sound just to please fans. I really hope they will distance themselves from that genre and reach the potential I know they have.

i understand we will disagree, i get annoyed(since i like rise records) because people base that entire label on the devil wears prada and breathe carolina, not the whole roster as they should.

I've got more faith in Cinematic Sunrise than Chiodos for reaching potential right now. Chiodos is going to get mired in scenecore, but I think CineSun has the potential to be a really awesome project. Have you heard their CD?

That's true.This is unrrelated but I have been frequenting Allmusic a lot lately and find them very credible especially with any mainstream or popular music. Since I have been listening to load of 60s and 70s music recently they are the place I go to find out which of a band's albums are good.

That's is too much talent in one area. After listening to Two Tongues it makes me hesitant to want to hear this. I heard they they are recording most of the stuff in December.That El Doro song was pretty awesome. Simple yet good.

I think Two Tongues works because Max and Chris are both pretty down-to-earth when it comes to the other's music; Max adores Chris and Chris thinks Max is very talented. They're not as egotistical. I love Craig and Anthony, but I can't really see either of them being open to collaborative songwriting.

an entire band saying exactly what happened and why they left him, even when he was an amazing singer showed to be pretty obvious.
and the fact that he never responded to them makes a lot of sense.

jonny is a dumbass, because he has such a great talent, but decides to fuck his life up with drugs and being a dick to everyone he meets, even his own bandmates.

well i've actually met jonny and he seems to have turned things around since he's moved on to emarosa, and his voice is still better than kurt's

well, yeah, i'll give him the benefit that he may seem to be better, but still, what he did was pretty bad, and i just feel that they both have amazing voices.

Then why would Emarose take him with open arms as well as Craig Owens new band? Who the fuck care if he was a druggie or drunk? Plenty of people in bands are like this.

i'm not quite sure of the circmstances of jonnys departure but i would venture to guess if what he did was anywhere near as bad as you say, he surely feels deeply remorseful

Obviously he couldn't have been that bad or neither Emarosa or Craig Owen's new band would have taken him. Do you personally know him or other members of the band? I love how people like to make assumptions about people when they don't know the whole story. You know what you have heard. That don't make it true.
