Life has been crazy lately to say the least. Here are my recommendations along with songs you should check out:

1. Rufus Wainwright (http://www.rufuswainwright.com) - Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk, Instant Pleasure, Across the Universe, Little Sister, Hometown Waltz. He has the most amazing voice, I really hope you check him out.

2. Tegan and Sara (http://www.purevolume.com/teganandsara) - Where Does The Good Go, Walking With A Ghost, Take Me Anywhere, You Wouldn't Like Me.

3. Arab Strap (http://www.arabstrap.co.uk/) - These guys are SCOTTISH and great. Check out the song "Pica Luna".

4. American Football - Pretty much anything is great, Mike Kinsella does no wrong.

american football and owen are fucking great.


mike played pretty much everything on the american football record. Interestingly enough, American football is what everyone knows him by, but i have heard from many people that he hates it.

I really love Tegan and Sara. Excellent live too, they're so funny and laid back, totally unexpected.

Rufus is great. I love his stuff from back in like 98...I really haven't had a chance to hear much of his newer stuff is it similar?
