LOTR 1 2 and 3 are one of the few movies at all that have kept me at the edge of my seat throughout every single minute of it. I love them.

I never got into the movies really. I pretty muched hated the first two. The third one was kinda cool though.

Its a really solid movie yes. Really well written and whatnot. I am just not into the whole fantasy stuff. Still a really good movie.

When I saw Fellowship, I was amazed by the cinematography. Double that for Two Towers, which is my favorite of the three movies. By the time Return of the King came, it wasn't impressing anymore. Also, ROTK is the weakest of the movies in my opinion. Everyone heralds it as this great accomplishment. Its not hard to do what Jackson, a regular b-horror movie maker, did when everything is so descript in the books. All you need is money really.
