I thought it was because they released some early demos as "The Militia Group Demos"

Here's the story on those demos.

They recorded them in LA while being courted by a label.

They had no intention of pursuing these songs. Militia Group paid for it, because they wanted Lydia to sign real bad, but the band wasn’t feeling it at all. Militia group said lets record two songs and see what we can do. So they did it to get some free recording time.

And they never actually released the demos. Early last year someone from here emailed them to me and I've been spreading them around.
