Sleater-Kinney is an eccentric three piece female band from the west coast. They are on infamous Sub-pop and have been around for awhile, i just picked up their new album The Woods after listening to the stream of it from their website http://www.sleater-kinney.com/index2.php . It reminds me of nothing else, i've ever heard..maybe a little old school the who..mixed with a bit of old radiohead...with sum ripping guitar work and glorious drums. it rocks...plain and simple.
P.S Im not used to female singers....but once i got passed that minor detail this album carries itself well..Check them out.
