i think the better question here is, why can't they make a 24 hour delivery service? In LA there used to be a service called Pink Dot that would deliver you sandwiches and cigarettes and even beer i think, but I believe they went out of business. I personally would just like every store/restaurant to stay open 24 hours a day, not just the sucky ones like Walmart.

Well in Pakistan all the main fast food places deliver.. places such as McDonalds, KFC, nanos, some local fast food places, Subway, pizza hut dominoes and papa johns (but these pizza places don't really count as fast food).
Its' great especially when your really fuckin high, and have the biggest munchies and you can't be arsed to leave the house, get in a car etc.

at least in London you have the chip shops and indian restaurants on every corner - we used to have them just a block away from our house if we didn't feel like cooking, but they weren't 24 hours either.
