I need to see III more to get an accurate decision. For me it'd be III or VI..... i know Empire Strikes Back is the usual favorite, but i didnt like how it ended so abrubtly. At least in the LOTR movies they wrapped things up at the end of I and II.

my fav would easily be III if the dialog wasnt so horrible.... i've gotta watch it more to see if i can get around that or not

Out of all of them it would have to be 5 or 6. But 3 is the best out of the new ones i think. Even though in episode 3 the fight scenes were pretty short and dule besides obi wans and anikan. If only i had a light saber(a real one)...that would be the best!...(god im such a nerd! lol)

Return of the Jedi is my favorite, but both V and III are fantastic as well.. I just love how it all ends in VI , and how it all comes together.

probably II, followed closely by V and III. i just watched all 6 in order (starting with the original) and attack of the clones remains my favorite. it has the most action, and that opening chase scene in coruscant is awesome

Any of the the original trilogy. But for the sake of having to pick just one I went with IV because it was so unique and ahead of its time. Can't go wrong with any of these films though in my opinion.

that is a ridiculous statement. maybe you think they're abominable compared to the original trilogy, but they are in fact amazing movies. if you watch the dvd extras, you'll see exactly how much went into the making of these films, all of the man hours and crazy shit that george lucas put everyone through to make them how he wanted to. at the very least, you have to admit that the newer trilogy is more visually appealing than the others, i mean look at all of the fantastic landscapes of the different worlds (and the action sequences during the clone wars).

Usually people say Jedi sucked and blame the Ewoks.

I can sort of see the people, except that it was an amazing movie anyway, especially the ending which is like 3 climactic battles... Han/Endor, Lando/Death Star, Luke/Vader... excellent movie.

Still though, it DOES drag on a bit on Endor, so it is my least favorite of the old 3... and easily better than any of the new 3.

He goes from scoundrel that turns Han in, to a General in the Republic's army, directing the final blow to the Death Star part 2.

My personal favorite is A New Hope. It gave me a reason to devote my life to the other 2.
