People who steal shit from people hosting parties at their house are such assholes. Like, really, having you over at my house isn't enough? Giving you free booze and the benefit of the doubt that you're not sketch because it's a roommate's birthday isn't enough?
My iPod got swooped this weekend. Fuck that.

somebody burglarized our vehicle two weeks ago. they stole our radar detector, and a pair of sunglasses that only cost five dollars. but they probably don't know that.

My ipod was stolen about 2 years ago. I left it in my backpack in the boy's locker room in my highschool and I never saw it again.

Thieves are pretty messed up people. One of my sister's friends was stealing from her and her other friends. This girl took makeup, clothes and money($300 from my sis!!!) from them. And when the girl finally got confronted for all the crap she took, she flat out denied every single thing. But she eventually cracked and admitted to stealing and returned some of the things she took. My sis is finding a therapist for the girl because she's obviously a kleptomaniac. It's pretty sad because these girls all knew each other since like sophomore year of high school...

That's why you always put valuables in your room and lock your door? All my friends and I abide by the simple rule, and none of us have ever had a problem (knock on wood). Sucks about the ipod though :(

I had my pipe stolen/broken at a party once. I let a kid see it while we were smoking, and I leave the circle to talk to someone for about 10-15 minutes. When I asked for the pipe back, the kid said he already gave it back. I go into the bathroom and it was sitting in the bottom of the toilet in 2 pieces.
I wanted to murder that kid, but my friends know him well, so I find where he keeps his booze during parties and I take it. That was my favorite pipe I've ever owned, and the prettiest one I (and many others said so too) have ever seen. So I'm going to continue to get my revenge slowly and lengthy.

this wasn't at a party but i let a kid borrow my pipe one night and the fucker never returned it. that was more than 5 years ago and i'm still pissed, the crystal ship was a sweet fuckin piece.

I've only stole one thing from a party, and it was a "Spotted Cow Crossing Sign" with a cow jumping on it. The guys at the part were being total fuckheads (like major BROS) and I was in a bad mood, so I took it.
don't really feel too bad about it though, and it makes a nice addition to my wall.

I had so much shit stolen in IV it's ridiculous. Skateboard, iPod, some other shit. Plus, my friend had a party downtown about a month ago and my new 160 gig iPod got swooped. It's all bad.

in general, it's better to use a laptop it seems at parties or use your network to play music off a computer/stereo, somewhere where you can see it. Ipods always seem to get stolen...
I always hide my shit in my room in case someone gets in there.

I did put everything in my room, and no one was supposed to be in there at all but since there's only one other bathroom I told my roommate it'd be okay if people needed to use my bathroom.
