Okay now normally I don't really ask for help around these parts..but my dog just got attacked by another dog and she came away from it crying and wimpering and really shaken up and stuff but then we continued on our walk and she seemed okay, but when I came home I noticed she had blood on her ear and the side of her head and a few cuts here and there. The thing is that I don't know how severe it is..and no one in my family is home and I just don't know what to do!!

Does anyone know how to tell how badly a dog is hurt? It may sound dumb but yeah. I need help here.

i'd say just wash around the area where the blood is to see if there are any deep cuts or anything, other than that just keep your eye on the dog for a little bit and see if he/she acts any differently.

yeah i washed it. then my best friend (who works at a vets office) came over because she was passing by on her way out and she cleaned it out and she said it looks like my dog is okay and probably only one of the cuts might be harmful then she cleaned the cuts with peroxide so now i'll just wait til my parents get home. thanks for the advice though..you get props for being the only person to respond haha
