Wow, I'm not sure what to say about this. No one really died this time. They killed the Jack Bauer character, but since there's going to be another season, they're going to have to do something. This show is a failure without him. Michelle and Tony are most likely gone for good, as they want to quit CTU. Forget them. Hopefully the President situation is fixed, because I can't stand Logan. The real president is still alive and should be able to continue once healthy. You can pretty much forget Palmer. Not too many returning characters it seems. If they want to bring Jack back into the CTU picture, they'll have to make up some bullshit like the Chinese couldn't do nothing to him because they coerced the confession. It'll be weird.

And that girl that played the seasonal terrorist is hot.

This was easily the worst season yet, and it hasn't ended over here in the UK but I am very bored with it at the moment. I mean, 24 is very unrealistic anyway, but a one-man army taking on America for the day is not believable. First the kidnap, then the power plants, then the attack on Air Force One, then the football (WTF?), it's just so ridiculous

Although I loved the fact that they used lots more locations in this season, I certainly hope the writers don't rush season 5 like it seems they did with this (And season 3 for that matter. The storyline was great, but the amount of subplots was amazingly stupid)

Also can't wait for the game :D

I dunno...I thought the ending really sucked. The stuff with the terrorists and the nuke was over within the first 20 minutes...and I mean...the way they destroyed the nuke was BS cause that still woulda destroyed most of LA. It really looked like they were pulling teeth to try and find a way to have a cool ending. Bringing up the stuff with the Chinese consulate again was real weak imo.

I also love the president cause he makes me wish I had allstate auto insurance.

the writers had absolutely no balls in actually having it hit its target, plus jack not dying was absurd.

i will defintely not be watching a season four of this.

I think that the show made a big mistake. How is CTU going to convince the Chinese govt. that Jack is dead? Just telling them that he died is not going to fly. They are going to assume that they are still lying. They don't have a body to prove his death. Jack's "death" did not help the situation with the Chinese govt at all.

They said something at the end about a body going to the morgue. The last 5 minutes were done so half-assed. Like there's no way Jack could have got Tony and Michelle to prepare everything for something so major so quick.

Yes, they said that a body was going to the morgue but that there would not be an autopsy. I assume this meant that they would cremate the body as soon as possible. Still, don't you think that the Chinese govt. is going to want a bit more proof than a cremated body. They did not believe the hourly reports, so they won't believe someone's word that this quickly cremated body is Jack's.

Did it seem weird to anybody else that Jack used his one phone call to call Palmer and never thought of his daughter? Plus, Palmer called Jack by his name during that call while walking down the hall as he left the building where Jack's death had been implicitly sanctioned. That seemed a bit stupid.

I love that show, but it seemed like they slapped things together at the end in a non-logical fashion.

You mean Behrus? I vaguely remember them killing him after they traded Jack for him. Not sure I remember, though.
