I'm in. My biggest "upset" is Buffalo over Uconn, which isn't really an upset but they are the underdog.

I decided that bowl season was so random, might as well employ a random strategy...so, I picked the team whose name started first...and then closed my eyes and re-ordered the picks for a bit.

I actually kind of like my picks, a few I disagree with (I had to pick Texas over OSU...only one that defies my rule)...but for the most part, I like my chances, cause for some reason it turns out that about 85% of the favored teams have a name starting sooner than the non-favored team

this confidence level stuff is bullshit.

I don't have a huge problem with it. It adds another dimension.

there's just too many games to rank. i don't have time for it. i have time to pick games once a week, not rank 35 some games. i shuffled a few around but i'll leave it at that. I might just delete the team.

It's like when facebook had upset scoring for the NCAA tournament, haha.

meh...for a national pick'em...ok, it allows one fan to get luckier than another and be the sole winner with all the right picks. But, for the casual fan, it makes it completely worthless to play (speaking as a fairly casual fan), because I could get 80% of my picks right, but still finish behind a guy who gets 65% right...

oh god, fuck upset scoring...easily the biggest bullshit scoring system ever

it just rewards luck a whole lot more than skill at that point. not a fan.

the first time i was in a pick 'em with confidence scoring it was pretty challenging and annoying but after a few years its grown on me so i'm used to it. with that said it is a very stupid system.

i would be down for confidence scoring in an NFL pick 'em league maybe. but for 35 games it's just overwhelmingly too much.

yea there is no way I can tell you if I am more confident that Northern Illinois will beat La Tech than I am that Troy will beat Southern Miss. Hell I truly just guessed on who would win those games
