Hey this is Justin from THE HOLLOW SOUND, Just thought we would let you all know what's going on with us right now since it has been a few weeks since we posted on our blog.
First off we would like to thank everyone that came out to see us between the dates of November 25th and December 2nd. We played four awesome shows and had four awesome experiences! It was amazing playing with Steel Train, Dear and the Headlights, and Forgive Durden! Then it was a really awesome intimate show that Saturday when a lot of our families got to come and see us (some driving all the way up from New Jersey!). The Secret Show on Monday was also awesome because we got to play with Steeling Jane, a Long Island band that you should definitely know, and we rounded out the week on Tuesday with a good old Battle of the Bands.
And guess what? We totally moved on to the next round! So check us out on February 21st at a club in Boston for that!
But we are also planning a tour for the week after Christmas. So far we have four dates booked and we're looking for a few more, so if you're looking for a band to play your New Years Eve party let us know, because WE LOVE TO PARTY!
Now to get to the Christmas part of this blog.
Justin is currently working on a Christmas album under his alter ego Handsome Dan, this album will contain five Handsome Dan songs, as well as one song from nemesis Evan Brock AKA Handsome Stan, and another song from Madeline Herec AKA Handsome Jan. This will be given away for free to download on an upcoming date, but rest assured it is worth the wait.
There will also be a very special Christmas Gift on our blog that we will be posting shortly. So keep checking it out!
